This game is not optimized AT ALL. I like to think I have a pretty good PC and it sounded like it was about to take off. The prologue is- ok? There's little to no direction and a weird difference between CTRL and C where C makes you go a little lower? Of course NONE of that is communicated to the player- the only place I was able to get any idea what to do was through the single guide written in Russian (Thx again <3). Once you FINALLY get through the vent that takes an awkward amount of time to actually get on top of the given crates, for some reason I had to shut the door in order for it to let me up so the second one, you can't open the door that was supposedly stuck from the side you're now on. Instead you have to maneuver crates in this new room on top of a washing machine and awkwardly jump back into the vent where you can NOW open the door from the original side. Once the power is back on the door at the end of the hall opens and you can find an axe. What is this axe for? I have no idea, I tried hitting multiple things but nothing came of it. At this point I was mildly confused on what to do as the door the entity runs into leads to just another locked door. I spent about 15 minutes looking around and trying to hit things with the axe before deciding to check the book cases which have a goblet hiding a button in it. Up to this point there has been no communication either in a note or as a pop up of this being even a possibility. Speaking of notes, they're all blank. Or so you would think if you didn't pay attention to the UI saying to press E to read (the same thing it says for you to pick it up). These are ok, they're typically little lore pieces and are a great way to tell a story if it was communicated well. The only occasion I came across that had an image rather then the typical blank sheet was the answer to the former mentioned puzzle involving the player moving crates around to get back into the vent. Once I got to the nightmare my inventory was empty, I don't know if this was a bug or intentional, seeing as I had healing items from the prologue and no threat until the nightmare it seemed an odd choice. Overall, I don't think this game is worth overheating your PC for. It only gets worse once you enter the nightmare section which has a 20 minute timer. If I want to burn out my hard drive for 20 minutes I'll go play Sims 4 on the highest settings.
while i like the idea of it, the game has a lot of glitches and can be confusing at certain points.
This game is a complete waste of time to download, thank god it does not cost money to play. If you are reading this, do not download it, do not waste your time playing this game. I only have 0.2 hrs because I could not make it past the first part because of bugs. My character could not make it into a vent or jump up over boxes. The lighting is so dark, even with the oil lamp in your hand I still find myself running into walls because I could not see. The game has potential but jesus christ I can't even make it past the first part!
Overall, the game was a pretty solid but definitely has some bugs that have to get worked out. Map disappears half the time and getting stuck on stuff in the forest section was some of my hang ups. gameplay was great and the concept was original but does deserve a patch so it makes for a better experience for other players. 6/10
I'm only giving a thumbs up because this is the first game I ever beat without having to do jack sh~t.
