Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 12 → 0.17/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is literally unplayable... there is no mouse sensitivity option, Everything that moves kills you the moment they agro on you, they take 1000 hits to kill but it takes 4 hits for you to die and if they hit you once they chain hit you stopping you from running away or hitting back... basically you are literally dead the moment they hit you the basics of the game you need to collect stuff like mushrooms but everything you try to find some you run the risk of agroing a tribesman or bear that will murder you on sight... after you collect some things you turn them into the quest NPC who gives you axes or other stuff to "survive" but you will die 1000% no matter what you do the game is insanely unplayable and for a 2026 game early access or not this is disgraceful.... dont waste your money with this garbage

Wendigo Land: Survive The Legend takes the familiar survival formula and gives it an unusual motivation: you are not simply trying to stay alive, but attempting to escape a crushing debt of 1,000,000. Developed and published by Apinat Studios, the game places the player on a dangerous island where gathering valuables is effectively the price of freedom. That financial objective gives the experience a clearer direction than many open-ended survival games, because nearly every successful expedition contributes toward a recognizable end goal. The basic gameplay loop revolves around exploring the island, gathering resources, mining valuable materials, crafting equipment, and constructing a base capable of keeping hostile creatures away. There is a satisfying relationship between these activities. Materials collected during exploration can improve equipment or strengthen defenses, while caves and remote locations provide opportunities to uncover rarer resources and treasure. Valuable discoveries can then contribute toward reducing the player's debt. The catch is that the debt can continue growing through interest, creating pressure to remain productive instead of simply hiding inside a fortified shelter. Survival becomes considerably more stressful because the island is not occupied exclusively by ordinary wildlife. The Wendigo serves as the supernatural centerpiece, turning exploration into something closer to survival horror whenever it is nearby. Sound and light can reveal the player's position, encouraging caution instead of constant aggressive combat. This gives nighttime travel and resource runs additional tension, particularly when valuable supplies tempt the player into remaining outside longer than is sensible. The creature works best as an unpredictable threat rather than another enemy to repeatedly fight for resources. Base construction and traps provide the defensive side of the experience. Establishing a secure location gives players somewhere to prepare between expeditions while also creating a meaningful use for gathered materials. Crafting similarly supports progression by providing tools and equipment needed to venture into increasingly dangerous areas. Mining adds another layer to exploration, especially for players who enjoy searching caves and hunting for rare ores. Individually, these systems are recognizable survival mechanics, but connecting them to the debt repayment objective helps them feel like pieces of the same progression structure. Online cooperative play supports groups of up to four players, which significantly changes the rhythm of survival. A group can divide responsibilities between exploration, gathering, mining, construction, and protection rather than requiring one person to handle everything. Cooperative expeditions also make encounters with dangerous creatures less isolating, although the unpredictable nature of multiplayer can create its own chaos. Solo play remains available and arguably suits the horror concept especially well, since exploring dark environments without another player nearby makes every suspicious noise more threatening. The game should still be judged as an Early Access project rather than a finished survival experience. Its existing foundation contains the major elements needed to establish its central gameplay loop, but the planned scope goes further. Additional creatures, bosses, Wendigo variations, equipment, weapons, regions, biomes, quests, balancing changes, and optimization are intended to broaden the experience during development. Those additions could greatly improve variety because survival games depend heavily on having enough discoveries and threats to prevent repeated resource runs from becoming predictable. Presentation supports the wilderness-horror atmosphere reasonably well, with forests, caves, darkness, hostile creatures, and isolated locations creating an appropriate setting for the supernatural premise. The game also has relatively approachable PC requirements compared with many modern survival releases. English and Thai interface and subtitle support are available, with the developer disclosing the use of AI-assisted translation. Steam achievements and Steam Cloud functionality provide useful platform features alongside the main game. Steam Deck compatibility is currently best regarded as Unknown or Unverified rather than officially supported. There is no established Steam Deck compatibility rating confirming the complete experience as Verified or Playable. The game may still function through Proton depending on the current build, but controller behavior, interface readability, multiplayer functionality, performance, and other compatibility details should not be treated as guaranteed until official testing provides a clear rating. The strongest element is ultimately the way the game gives traditional survival activities a concrete purpose. Gathering wood or ore is not merely about creating a larger base, and treasure is not valuable solely because it produces better equipment. Everything feeds into surviving long enough to eliminate the debt and earn freedom. The combination of financial pressure, supernatural danger, crafting, mining, building, exploration, and cooperative survival creates a concept with genuine personality. Its long-term success will depend on how much depth, enemy variety, optimization, and content are added throughout Early Access, but the existing foundation already demonstrates an interesting direction. Rating: 6/10
