Harder than a 9 to 5 job
The employee limit is really ruining the fun of this game, I hope the DEVs address this ASAP.
WATABARK
Well, after seeing Daz play this, and then it being on sale for release day, I thought I'd treat myself and it was so worth it. I have become obsessed! I love it, I can't wait to see what more they add in the future.
very sigma and great quality
Me : Mom, can I watch some CaseOh ? Mom : No, but you can become Case Me : *GooHoo*
I'm a sucker for simulator games, and I think Waterpark Simulator has got to be one of THE best sims out there. There's ALWAYS something to do so you're never sitting idly by or doing mundane repetitve tasks like in most sims. Even when you reach the point where you have some degree of automation (employees), there's still plenty for you to do. The economy feels balanced, the freedom of design is super fun to experiment with, and the interactions with the guests are hilarious. If someone sneaks into your park without paying, give them a little shove.. or permanent brain damage with a sledge hammer. I played this game at launch and it was amazing already, but the 1.0 release has added SOOOO much new content that I've been enjoying so far like custom slides, new decoration quests and more park upgrades. I LOVE the new weather/events that occur because they are juuust the right amount of silly. I can't decide if my favourite is the UFO trying to steal your guests, or the tornado that flings them around. They also added co-op, which I haven't tried but I think this is THE perfect sim for multiplayer. A well-rounded sim that is easy to accidentally sink six hours in one session because you just *have* to do one. more. day. 11 poops in the pool/10
Honestly feel like the more they add the worse the game gets. The forced quests when you've already done something is frustrating and sometimes you just need one more guest to get a quest done and the game wont spawn them till the next day. Im not sure why the fences don't work for me but guest will teleport to stuff I block off so whats the point of them? The ragdolling even when you turn off mid air ragdolling is just annoying. The most punishing thing is how fking long it takes to get staff when the game is designed for you to constantly grow. Just feels like a grinding simulator more than anything and I want to love this game but I'm over it.
I think the early game was pretty fun but then later on I found myself no longer wanting to come back and play any more. I was trying to figure out why that was for awhile, and I think the answer is that the game is simply *so easy* that I've checked out and just don't find it engaging enough to care, even on hard mode difficulty. For instance, with my 4-star park... someone's drowning? I don't care. People waiting for service? I don't care. Trash? Who cares. I can neglect the park and do a bad job, basically going afk, and I'll still make more money than I know what to do with. Sure I'll get bad reviews, but so what? There seems to be no consequence to this, as if general public have no memory and it all just resets the next day. I know people will get a ticket refund if they get upset enough, but the threshold for this seemed extreme enough to hardly matter, and the ticket money is negligible anyway compared to what they already paid in attraction fees. In the beginning of the game I was under the illusion that these things actually mattered, and had fun trying to do a good job. Once I realized it didn't, it sort of took the wind out of my sails.
it is epic
