it's a game about fruits, and there's watermelons in this game about fruits. so that is why it's called watermelon game. but watermelon is also the last fruit to combine, i think, i don't remember, i played this like three years ago or something. also, watermelon is a fruit that you can eat. btw this game is about fruits. and you combine fruits with other fruits in order to get more fruits. i hope i'm being clear.

I hate leaving a negative review because honestly, this game is pretty fun. It's one of those "just one more run" games that somehow turns into two hours disappearing from your life. That said, the achievements are completely ridiculous. Not challenging. Not difficult. Just absurd. Some of them feel like they were created by someone who never actually tried to earn them. I genuinely don't think most players will ever unlock them legitimately. Unless you're hacking the game or exploiting something, they're basically impossible. The power-up system is a cool idea, but it feels like a missed opportunity. There should be some bigger rewards for actually playing well. For example, if someone manages a 20x combo, that should earn something awesome. Give me a "blow the f*** out of this board" power-up. Let me launch a rocket and clear half the screen. Reward skill with something satisfying instead of just watching the board slowly fill up until the run dies. Another QoL feature that would help a ton would be a hold slot. Let players save a piece and swap it back in later. Tons of puzzle games do this because it adds strategy and helps prevent runs from getting ruined by bad luck. The biggest disappointment isn't even the game itself. It's reading through reviews and getting the impression that the dev couldn't care less about player feedback. Maybe that's not actually true, but that's definitely the vibe. People have been suggesting reasonable improvements for a long time, and it doesn't seem like there's any interest in making the game better. So yeah, fun game. Addictive game. But it also feels like a game that could be 10 times better with a few basic improvements that probably aren't ever coming. Recommended? Maybe. Recommended if you're an achievement hunter? Absolutely not.
