It's addictive!
Нанял отряд бичей в самом начале, всех накормил, одел, согрел, научил. Все сдохли((( 10 слезных моментов из 10!
So, to start, I did enjoy the game. It certainly has its flaws, but they're mostly minor things. Mostly. Let's start with the good first. The gameplay is fairly simple, and easy to get into. You move along the map, get resources, pick fights, do missions, become rich and famous hopefully before you die. Combat is turn based, and each unit has its own special abilities to spice things up, which can alter each characters combat style pretty drastically at times. The world gives you enough info to gradually get a grasp on the environment without throwing three encyclopedias at you in the first ten minutes. It features a few simple timing minigames for secondary professions like fishing or busking. All pretty easy to get into so far. The things that frustrated me with the game were mostly minor QoL issues. A couple of bigger ones. So some of the QoL things, first with co-op, is that it splits your party based on who controls which character. Sounds good in theory, right? Each person can go check things out on their own. No, you're tethered together by a short distance and just can't move either way if you get too far. This is annoying. I'd rather something more akin to Wasteland 3 where one person guides the ship. Combat is strangely uneven in the beginning. You start off VERY weak compared to the early human enemies, and getting gear that puts you on par is time consuming. Enemies don't drop much, so a battle with 11 bandits leaves 11 corpses, an axe, and maybe one or two pieces of garbage armor. If you're lucky you might get a rarer piece of armor every third or fourth battle. Gold and food were a non-issue for me, even without the DLC. You can very easily farm both with a bard and fisherman with a little time and gathering. If you have the Tavern DLC, it's even less of an issue. The biggest issue though, is probably their latest DLC. As mentioned before, combat starts uneven, and ends uneven with doomstacks of bandits all with more health and armor than you swarming the major city region. They wander the streets, and you have to pull off fights with several of these stacks to move safely from one section to another. It's not an impossible thing to do, it's just very tedious and costly, both in game resources and in real time. Now for the real-life issue. The game has a good number of DLCs. They're all fairly expensive for what they provide, sadly. Some of them are outright exorbitantly overpriced. Some of the DLC exist simply to add bugs and tedium to your game. While I do recommend the game, I would NOT recommend buying it until it and the DLC are on significant sale prices.
Очень увлекает, много интересных механик, DLC интересные!
