It looks like a spiritual successor to 'Warblade' (by the late Edgar M. Vigdal), which was an expanded Windows version of "Deluxe Galaga" (by the same creator), itself a clone of "Galaga". I welcomed small tweaks to the original mechanics but I also haven't seen some of the features of the previous games ('Warp Malfunction', 'Hurry Up' or 'Money-Stealing' ship); maybe my playtime is just too short. However, I'm enjoying the game and waiting for the sequel.
