Crush Online is a Free-to-Play PVP MMO with MOBA-style combat in a persistent world. Choose between one of three factions and many distinct characters with tons of different weapon setups. CRUSH ONLINE isn’t just a match. It’s WAR! Crush Online Thats what this game is. It is Crush online, a failed game that the community turned its back on. Changing the name and claiming it is an Alpha release is cheap and takes any respect away. People put money into Crush Online and got nothing but a listing in the steam games library as a sick reminder of that you get when you back people with a lot of claims and no care. So you are going to fix everything? Why isnt it fixed yet? You are going to balance everything? Why isnt is balanced yet? Why is this the same game that it was the first time you released it? This is not an Alpha release. This is not beta game. This looks like it will be a fast money grab through micro transactions and then the game will vanish again to be released in another 3 years. We will never forget the publishers that fail us. Your going to wipe and give the money back to the people who invested? What about the people who invested the first time? Until I see a spark of honesty this is a no. Do not buy micro transactions through this company. You will not see anything for it.

After reading a couple of the negative reviews I'm not sure whether people are trying to intentionally tear this game down. A bunch of negative comments are simply not true and based on a 1-2h game-time, subjective and falsified perspective. I've been playing the game for a few hours, and I quite like it. To be fair, the best free to play game I've ever played, and I'm usually not a fan of those. I have never played its predecessor, "Crush". And even if I did, what does it matter? You know what most developers would do when they fail in completing a game they worked hard for? They ♥♥♥♥ off with your money. At least these guys have the balls to admit Crush might not have developed as hoped for, but look, they are here again, fighting, working hard and doing everything to make up for their mistake, not giving up, while even admitting what happened with Crush. Then there are the people crying about bad optimization. Good morning, it's an Early Acces, What the actual ♥♥♥♥ did you expect? A top notch AAA game with 0 flaws? To be frank with you, my PC is 6 years old and runs this game as smooth as ♥♥♥♥. Zero lag, zero stuttering, even in 15v15 battles, simply nothing to remark on my end. And yes, probably some of you have issues, but atleast be patient to give them the time to solve the problem for you, again, it's an EA-Game. Ofcourse there are technical agenda points that need to get looked in to. Ofcourse, it has a few minor technical issues which I'd personally rather see different, but hey, the GM's are doing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great job keeping track of what we report and what we want. These guys are day in day out right there to help us, inform and update us, and listen to us. Want to help shape the game? Get your ass on discord and see for yourself. Then there is the P2W blaming. I don't understand the accusation. Yes there is an option to pay for in-game items, but the reason I'm interested in this game as a normally subbed-based gamer, is because it doesn't feel pay to win at all. You don't have to invest a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dime into the game, and you'd still be able to be great. The reason the cash shop items are there is because, hello, it's a free game. How the hell do you expect they should make their living out of their creation? I can confidentially tell you that I would never pay more than what a normal, similar game would be worth, in a life time, and that is not even a guarantee as I absolutely didn't feel the need as of yet. All by all, I really like the game so far. -It involves teamplay and coördination, which makes it a very social game. -I love the mixture between MOBA and MMORPG. -The game has very cool features. (3v3 Camelot style nation wars, political election system, legion fortresses,...) -It's addictive af :p -Doesn't require an end game pc -It's free -It has an amazing and helpful community -Tons of potential to become an awesome game, more than it already is -Has a few minor technical issues I'd love to see different, but I'm patient to work it out together and enjoy the game as it is for now. -One thing I personally really dislike is the ability to AFK-farm, it's unfair, lame and encourages botting or multi-boxing. But it is what it is, I'd give this Early Acces 8/10, which many game, and let alone free games, wouldn't get from me for a score. Keep up the great work and don't let them negative reviews drag you down, many of us love the game.
I think ive never had wrote a game review in 5 years of steam, but in this case i couldnt leave the game before doing it because its at same time a great game concept and a huge dessapointment. First of all: the game has a really cool concept, an mmo with a moba style pvp, when i first saw it i had to play the game to see how it was, and it is really kinda of interesting. But its pretty much it, a good concept, a empty shell, the only thing you do in game is grind for equips in afk spots, you can see like 90 people online sometimes but the maps are always empty, no one really playing it, 90% of the small player base ,wich is shrinking day by day, just sit with their char afk in the same spots day after day, while playing another game. The pvp, wich should be the focus of the game, almost never happens, and when it does is usually unbalance and boring. So most time ppl just stay in their afk farming spots while playing another game. In top of that, theres something really wierd happening with the game staff, some of them play the game ( wich isnt a problem per se ) and sometimes forget that they cant act as players while acting as modertors and vice versa. Here some examples of what happened to me: during a fight agains reds for a fort battle , i was leading the fight with 40 kills , the rest of the team had like 5 or 4 kills, them i was disconected from the game , no lag no sluttering just diconected ( later on a friend of mine said that is that what happens when gms kick ppl from server). Later, in the same day during that path of fight, the red nation( wich is where the gms play) get 20 ppl in the map ( when the maps have a 15 ppl max, forts can have more, but was in a normal map) to fight against blue nation. Another example happened some days later when a discord mod ( this one from blue nation named "Wasaki"), kicked everyone from a guild that he was in because he wanted to quit the guild( and before quiting he wanted to troll the guild for some reason), when this mod was asked why he did that, he just answered " i did it beause i wanted , i dont need to explain anything to you , stop crying ". So , almost 60 ppl get kicked from their guild whitout any explanation just because the mod " felt like doing it ". When i went to the game official discord channel to report this mod behavior, another mod ( "iceflux" ) came into his defense and said " yeah we heard you, but its not really a big deal, stop talking about it in the discord channel or i will mute you again' ( I didnt understood why he said " again" i was never muted, but anyway). And thats it, a game mod just ruined almost 60 players experience because " he felt like doing it " and the other mods dont think its a big deal and threaten to mute and ban you if you ask for some kind of action from the game mods about this abusive behavior.Honestly i have played indie games made by just a group of friends and i never had saw this kind of unprofessionalism by the gms . Again, a gm playing the game is not a problem per se, but they should separate who they are as just playes and who they are as gm, they shouldnt abuse the gm position to abuse and ruin other players experience. Obviusly not everyone is like that: Like GmAchim for example, i talked with him sometimes and he seems like a nice and honest dude, so again, not all, but this game has a serius unprofessionalism problem by the part of SOME( not all) members of the staff. So thats my review, a great game concept that didnt worked, with a unprofessional staff that dont know how to separate he as a gm and he was player, i dont know if i will just quit or keep playing to see if this problems get any kind of fix ( the staff problem is the worst in my opinion),but after 5 years in steam iam wroting my first game review, because i want people to know what to expect.
Reviewing the game after a few hours into the game and experienced majority of the content that it has to offer before hitting a wall to wait for players to catch up aswell as being bothered with the new system. (Reference: http://steamcommunity.com/app/718790/discussions/0/1698294337789310034/) Hello, I'm Kawe, an old player from Crush online and I'm back reviewing the game Warmonger which is suppose to be the revamped version of Crush. Oh boy there's a lot of changes but there's also a lot of things I dislike which is of course my own opinion of the game, so without further of due here's my Pro / Con list before I go more detailed into the small things that made me quit the game again. Pro: - The new conquering system gives you a more teamwork based feeling when you conquer lands together - The rune system is pretty good for some extra customization - The quests are now always there available for you in comparisson to old one when you ran out of it. - Dungeon is now available to solo but also available at nexus/fortress if you lack of lands to enter certain tier. - Dungeon drops feels more rewarding. - A.I Bots are now always available and spawning to help you push for the objectives - Every player is rewarded with gold from the nation which only worked with Legion before. - The devs has a discord channel and are active Con: - It lost it's "moba" feeling when the amount of artifacts and the battle system changed (more rant later) - The old TP system was more strategic in comparisson to the new one (more rant later) - Cash shop is very vague with information (more rant later) - It feels one sided nation once you have the zerg - More grindy than usual due to new equipment upgrade system (more rant later) - Tutorial (including the learning quest at late level) is a bit hard to understand and could be trick you (more rant later) - Dimension portals is very limited, players will have to wait for others to finish the dungeon run. (more rant later) - Auto pathing is the same as the old one from Crush Online, Running into lava and killing yourself 10/10 - I can foresee the afk/bot in the abyss once people need more materials to upgrade (more rant later) Right, let's start with the wall of text with all those cons that I tagged. What made Crush online so unique was it's battle when you started from 0 and build yourself up with your artifacts. Having a limit of your gear that you upgrade throughout the battle made it more fun to engage enemies depending on the amount of x class being used. Due to removal/changes it's all about who has the highest equipment upgraded which makes it a bit less exciting and more "grindy" to "Crush" the enemy nation. TP skills back then felt rewarding for those who contributed a lot for their nation and it made some stratigical actions in the war. Now when everyone can interact their nexus it feels a bit less strategical but also opens up for a coordinated group to pull off moves. Might be a con/pro here but this might cause more trolls or bad usage from new players who are curious and just interacting with the nexus at start. Cash shop is what supports the devs and the game to keep it alive, however the gacha is immediately something that shows off "P2W" for majority of the people who don't really understand how it works in this game. Everything is obtainable but with your credit card, you can obtain these faster but there's a trick to it, it's in a gatcha system and all RNG. Even though if you do get these items you'll have to upgrade them and that's where it doesn't become p2w unless you believe in your credit card for that RNG. Because you'll need multiple of the same item at max level to get to tier 2 of the weapon. This feels like it's tempting but everyone has different opinion when it comes to cash shop. The only downside for me with it is the lack of information and sneaky descriptions. Costumes have durability but there's no information about how to repair or recover those durability. Ending up with a costume that is only for fashion, but these costume have permanent stats which is something that grants more advantage than the other if you are aiming for min-max. Even the costume lady has an option that doesn't explain what it does. The grind has been explained a bit among the wall of text from above but it's the same grind even though it was mentioned that they changed the upgrading part. Back then it was to 30 + rank up, right now it's 15 + a duplicate of your weapon to get a rank up. (15+15 = 30+rankup). This is not an issue for me as I love grinding but when the cash shop offers you some materials for cash it feels a bit p2w, but then again there was never an issue with grinding in the Abyss as it's quick and fast but for new players it's probably going to turn them off. And with that mention this will lead to the honorable mention of AFK/Bot farming in Abyss which I saw in the test before Early Access and in Crush Online. People will leave their PC on to afk farm in the Abyss in the last map vs the demons. Just because the game is grindy and requires you to farm up the gold, and fragments to upgrade. This can be prevented by having a system to kick people but since they auto attack and walk it's probably not possible, but it was preventable by dragging enemies near them to lure them out of their afk spot which I did (For justice!). This was never prevented from the previous game and made it look very sad that players has to do this type of farming. Tutorial in this game is a bit vague and players are sometimes lost, maybe it's not the game's fault but for the non english native speakers this might be an issue for them to know what's up, especially new players. I had no issue of course due to being an old player but a pop up or something to teach players about how certain things works is probably better because they tend to skip dialogues or not read. Mostly their own fault but if a pop up that requires you to click on X instead with images could be much better or in general improved. This also counts for the things such as the new upgrade system where I learned afterwards that you need 2x weapons of lv 15 tier 1 to upgrade to tier 2 as I chose the other weapon for reward not knowing that I needed a duplicate. Dimension portals aka the dungeon portals are very limited in certain maps, especially starting area where players have to wait for others to finish or unable to enter with their party/friends because someone else is already inside and probably cleared all the enemies. A player can troll others by clearing all the enemies inside and just afk in there. Usually happens to the portal where the auto path takes the new players. Due to this issue you may end up wasting the energy that is being consumed and the re-work for that was done poorly. Dungeon in the fortress is only for "solo" which is doable untill hardmode There are probably more things to add on both pro and con and much much more to talk in details about but this should be good enough for a review of Crush Online 2.0 aka Warmonger. This is of course my opinion of the game and I can't recommend it at current state. It is an early access game and it can be improved but I won't come back to the game even though it was fun re-living the minor heat in Abyss with PvP. I did realize that the higher lvl/equipped players will always be superior if you grind from start. It made me become an online bully as a high lvl beating low level, as I saw a player rage in chat that our nation never allowed them to finish their quest. Something that you need to look up on aswell GiF! Players shall not rage or quit because they can't finish their low level quest in abyss before they get into the dungeons which is the main thing as Abyss is more for the beginner/afk farming. If you are new to the game, feel free to try it out, it might interest you as they update the game. - Kawe
I've spent time enough (more than 1 year, 4+ beta phases) in this game and tried my best giving detailed feedback directly to the publishers - it was no use. So I'm done writing amusing or in-depth reviews. What made me quit for real was the new set of rules, created after specific events and targeted to a few people, which means a witch hunt. Out of everything that's wrong with this game mechanic-wise, this "personal" posture from the game staff and intervention on players' affairs (such as giving a nation benefits under the "balance" excuse) is what I (and many of you should as well) deem critical to a game's future. An impartial publisher/dev is the most important thing in this kind of game.
I've never reviewed a game before, but I felt like I needed to speak my mind on this one specifically for anyone looking into playing this game and trying it out. I've wasted roughly 300 hours into this game as I genuinely tried to enjoy the game. However, the GMs are too hands on with what the players can and can't do. There's an NPC in the game that lets you change nations if you choose to. The game was very heavy blue sided so they rewarded the red nation with a "loser buff" and gave them all these benefits to "stand a chance." Some players from blue decided to change nations since the red side was getting all these benefits, because they were being favorited. This resulted in GMs banning players for changing nations WHEN IT IS AN IN GAME FUNCTION. There's an NPC that allows you to do this, but decided to ban whoever changed over just because they wanted to "balance the game out." They're failing miserably in balancing out the game and have NO IDEA what they're doing. Terrible GMs, terrible developers case and point. Finally, the threats that the GMs made on their Discord server is disgusting and they should never be able to have any type of moderator power for any new games to come. They're an embarrassment. TLDR: Do not waste your time on a game where you are being told how to play the game by the GMs. Abusing GM powers in a game is a terrible way of handling your failed and extremely flawed game.
Oooooooooh boi. Around 112hours here, not as much as some but I've been playing since the start of the "warmonger" game annnnnd sh!t, while it was "fun" at the start, it went from 100 to 0 very quickly, the game could have been great, until you realize that nothing will ever get added in the game, they're just using and re-using old things from their past game "Crush Online", tweaking some things here, adding some exploits here (There was around 8 or 9 exploits during the early access, which forced them to wipe the game), more bugs that won't be fixed until the next week because devs only works for a day of the week apparently, add some GM that doesn't even speak english and can't make it so people will understand him, koreans devs that don't speak english either, WELP. I'm pretty sure they're all using google translation to talk with their devs and apparently most of the time, the devs don't understand what they wanted (or just don't give a single f#ck because ... the game has already failed quite a lot of time and at this point it's just here for them to get back a bit of the money spent on it) - Most of the weapons (which give you skills because weapons are more or less "classes" on this game) don't work as intended (nothing has been done since the start of the early access about them btw) - The game allow you to get "heroes transformation" (from the cash shop obviously) that allow you to become some kind of boss, apparently, they spent quite a lot of time and effort on this because out of the 8 or 9 transformations, all skills and passives are working as intended and that's 8 skills per transformation, so do the math and then you realize that there's WAY more skills that works on transformation that skills that works on weapon. (Most of the skills on weapons don't even have the intended effect or just doesn't do anything beside beeing here, don't get me started on weapons that are only obtainable from gacha, the 'blue' daggers don't even work and is just here to bait old crush online players due to how OP the weapon was back then). -Unbalance between the two nations, while I can understand that a nation is "better" than another one, having a GM biased toward a nation isn't a way to do things. The blue faction has been "winning" from the start with as much people as the other faction, locking a nation to make people join the side that is "losing" doesn't help if you don't unlock it once the other side has way more people. Anyway, trust me, don't waste your time on this or well ... if you do plan to play the game, don't spend a single $ on it.
I played Crush Online before it got turned into a "new" game, which is now known as Warmonger. Although they changed a few mechanics in the PvP system, the rest of the game has the same flaws as Crush Online. Complete bad optimization. Like, I've seen games with higher requierments than my PC could handle and were so well optimized I could play those smoothly, unfortunatly I can't say the same for Warmonger. Although it has extremely low requirements, it runs like I was trying to run Crysis 3 on a toaster. Now as far as a technical UI stand point, it's just bad. If you choose to play at lower resolutions, you are gonna get blury and overlaped text, however, if you choose to play on higher resolutions, you are going to need a planetary microscope to read anything. Combat is pretty much the same, and I saw a dev talking about the new class system that you get at lvl 30, and that... it costs XP per minute? What? Who thought that was a smart idea? Another issue is the unbalance in the nations, another problem passed on by Crush Online onto Warmonger. I've seen opposite nations get completely mauled by higher level players. So balance wise, it's still manure. FOR NOW, I do NOT recommend this to anyone. If you are looking for MMO or MOBAS to play, there are ton of good MMO's out there(Path of Exile for exemple), or even older titles(Rift for exemple despite having some controversial elements). For MOBAS, there is always the likes of LoL, DotA 2, Smite, HotS. Check again around Summer, hopefully they fixed most of the issues with the game, else they'll just kill it and make a exact copy and release it again as Crush the Warmonger Online V3.0.
Feels and reacts like a browser game of sorts, with the auto pathing, walking sometimes for few minutes to get to a dungeon that does not reset because a person is in it afk, so I wait again some minutes for my turn. And countless other cash grab unappealing mechanics. Overall looks nothing more promising then its dead previous game. Overall looks like a renamed cashgrab of the old game Crush online. Steam is the one to blame here for allowing trash games to come alive.
What can I say that this game "was" great at the start, the first few levels of doing quests getting into the game learning the in & outs. Then it hits you like a 9gager you either have no life and plays this game nonstop just to get the materials to upgrade your gear or your friends desert you to play something more fun... That's right fun, is the one thing I would not use for this game between grinding for pittance of resources when you get to ANY stage of the game start 20's or even lvl 30 you need the same materials that you can farm from mobs at level 10+ just make a new character and go AFK the first zone that drops them. Classes: Play as the under/overpowered "Punisher" with a stealth skill that is broken in the game which everyone exploits the hell out of. Has nice damage output but poor survivability so stack up on potions... Play as the mage class that everyone wants to play physical DPS with because it works... Oh and you can take a healing wand so you can heal yourself whenever you want. Which is nice. Play as the Guardian, this beefcake champ can wield either a hammer with various elements or... A minigun yes the damn tank class has more versatility and survivability than the other 2 classes so whats the point play as a damn guardian. Oh and it doesn't matter what side you're on the game looks the same no diffrent art assets or anything unique just the same. Pay 2 Win? Buy a Ninja or Dragonslayer costume that increases your stats for 2000 Gems ... definitely not Pay2Win. Everything else is just cosmetic/convenience like the ability to ensure that some of your upgrades ACTUALLY WORK *1 per upgrade (of course). On a note, it costs 5000 gems for a character slot that's 6 Euros or £5.25 or $7.34 USD (Base on current market) Community in game: Somewhat toxic/dead/non-existent ~Arslan Faction Population: Don't let this fool you it is one-sided. A number of players have stated that they could not join with their friends because a faction was "locked out" Obviously this happens when the population gets too high on one side. So yea that's a thing but as a result of everyone wanting to go to one side it gets overpopulated one side and vice versa on the other and it ruins the game for "almost" everyone. Development/Updates Lets not sugar coat this. Publisher GAMESinFLAMES does it's best but rarely responds to feedback unless its negative. or someone is calling out a hacker blah blah blah. The game gets updated now and then but nothing major and sometimes to piss people off they will change the way looting works in a group or w/e hopefully they will GET IT RIGHT... At some point. I'll update this "when" something happens Overall: I do not recommend this game, not at this time anyway.
