Great game, love it so far

An absolute masterpiece of a CRPG, even if the graphics show a bit of age. Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is simply incredible. The writing, the atmosphere, and the tactical combat capture the grimdark essence of the 40k universe perfectly. You truly feel the weight of being a Rogue Trader making galaxy-spanning decisions. The graphics feel slightly dated and old-school, but honestly, the depth of the gameplay, the story, and the sheer immersion more than make up for it. If you love deep RPGs and the 40k lore, this is an absolute must-play!

Dungeons and Dragons in Space.

I don’t usually write Steam reviews, but Rogue Trader absolutely deserves one. It’s a classic CRPG in the best possible sense: a superb story, an enormous amount of Warhammer 40,000 lore, engaging turn-based combat, and a genuinely deep character progression system. The skill and ability trees give you a huge amount of freedom in how you build your party and approach situations, whether that means talking your way through problems, exploiting skill checks, or simply killing everyone. This game captures the 40K universe like almost no other. It doesn’t just use Warhammer as a backdrop; the setting, factions, ideology, politics, religion, companions and moral choices are woven into practically everything you do. The DLCs are also absolutely worth getting. Rather than feeling like separate side content bolted onto the game, they are integrated into the main storyline and add characters, quests and content that feel like a natural part of the overall experience. After finishing my third playthrough, I still discovered, decisions, and outcomes I hadn’t seen before. And I already know I’ll play through it again.
