Reminds me of the Wasteland games in a great way. Loved it.
Clocking in just about 100 hours at the time of completion, including the first two DLCs, RT is a solid 8/10. Is it better than WOTR or Owlcat's prior games? In some ways it is, in others it isn't. Plot-wise, this is the better written game out of their prior games, but I say that with a warhammer bias on my part. They nailed the setting down. There is absolutely less class diversity and builds in RT than the prior games. Items make or break many builds. Psyker is just overpowered but that does seem true to the lore. This isn't a dealbreaker, but the leveling was absolutely a chore. Overall, classes and build crafting is weaker than WOTR by far. But the actual gameplay felt a lot more solid than WOTR in turn. However, balancing is completely gone by mid game. My psyker could solo entire maps on the first round. I played this on the second most difficult gameplay setting. The meta-game of battleship was interesting at first, but it quickly becomes stale, as it never evolves beyond what you initially see. Yes, you get new toys as you level the ship and change the weapons, but flip the page, and it's still the same book. Lastly, slideshows are employed again for the ending. Yay, you beat the final boss, time for a slideshow. Do I want every single thing shown on the screen? No. I would love to actually see an ending play out for some of the more important choices you make. It really brings the high of beating the game down to a huge low, as you're simply sitting there...reading and reading multiple pages of slides..then credits. Overall, I look forward to Dark Heresey if it improves upon RT.

刚过序章,感觉还不错
Legitimately one of the best top down RPGs ever made. I expected a game that was meant to get 40k fans into RPGs. This was an RPG so good that it got me into Warhammer 40k

Great story and great game. Replayability is awesome.
A really fun game, but it is a big time investment! The DLC's are interesting additions, but do complicate the story somewhat. Personally, I was disappointed that the game was not narrated throughout, and there were occasional difficulty spikes which made the game unpleasant for a time, and lowering the difficulty felt like a defeat. The length of the game ultimately defeated me, I wanted to move on to other things, but I loved the majority of my time in this game. The devs did a great job, and I look forward to their upcoming Warhammer release as well. I just wish the balance of combat difficulty was slightly more balanced, and the interruptions during flight got annoying.
