It's gud
great game would recommend
Just deep enough, without being overwhelming. Combat is fun, enemies are decently varied. If you enjoy Vermintide then you'll most likely enjoy this.
it's fun :)
Came back for the Skitarii DLC after sleeping on it just after launch. Have to hand it to the dev team for sticking with it. The game is in a MUCH better place now when it comes to a sense of agency with progression and the string of campaign missions are a great way to get a class you know you want to stick with up through the trust ranks. The talent tree offers meaningful build diversity and options, the mastery system for weapons means you're no longer beholden to RNG for perks and blessings to make your loadout "good," and the ability to get a "profain" or "common" weapon from the store regardless of what flashy stuff is randomly available means you aren't stuck waiting for RNG to actually play with a weapon you've unlocked access to. Add to that the ability to invest in curating the perks and blessings with Hadron rather than being stuck checking the store between every single run or crossing your fingers for a god roll on the "gift" weapon rewarded for a successful mission and the game just feels a lot more friendly to the player overall. The core flow of combat and objectives has always been solid, but the addition of new maps and objectives as well as what looks like not one but two completely knew game modes with an extraction style mode I've yet to try and the game just feels like it's everything I was wishing it was at launch. If you've got it in your library or your wishlist and were waiting for the "right time" I'd say now is a good a time as any to fight the heretics of Tertium
