Walk The Frog

The puzzles were a bit esoteric at times because it's sometimes difficult to figure out where the pieces line up or what you should be doing, but the plot and characters have a lot of heart and it's definitely a story worth experiencing.

Cute and fun with a nice sense of humor

Walk the Frog is very enjoyable. The characters have an irresistable charme and i like to unfold and uncover the path along the way. Colors, music and artwork are beautiful and fun to watch. Also satisfying sticky note sound. Play when you just want to be cheerful and entertained.

This is a very unique and adorable puzzle game with a very different protagonist than most cozy games. Recommend if you want something relaxing and silly to play. I will say the flies that serve as collectables are not very intuitive to grab and can be missable in unexpected ways.

Art is great, puzzles are also pretty fun, but everything is made to slow you down. Froggo walks just slow, you have to wait for the other characters to do something and they are even slower. All of them talk a lot before getting to a point. At one point, they said goodbyes to each other like 6 times before finishing dialogue. I played the demo earlier and I feel like grabbing the sticky notes was easier back then, now they are on extra sticky glue. Overall, I feel like there was at least 30min wasted of my life, just because how slow and dialogue-heavy everything was. And I would be fine with all that talking if it at least lead somewhere; Froggo is friendzoned and now a baby daddy. The festival that was a main goal of the game felt pretty dissapointing, even the club felt bigger. They are also some bugs, I got stuck in the club and had to replay it. Swimming in our pond is also buggy. Still, it isn't a bad game, just needs polishing.

The game was cute and had a great little storyline.

Charming jigsaw style puzzle game about a frog trying to get back to the pond. The game uses posted note style drawings that have to be assembled in the correct order to unlock the scene. There are also light puzzle elements in some of the scenes to complete. Overall the difficulty of assembling the scenes isn't high, but the charm of the game and the great art used made it a very enjoyable 3-4 hour journey. I can also see this as a game I will come back to and play again in the future. Highly recommended at its affordable price. I experienced no major bugs in my playthrough. I believe there was a puzzle related one fixed in a recent patch. Game ran great on a Steam OS handheld. It uses mouse controls, but they are easy to map to a controller if you prefer to use the right stick as a mouse.
