meh! aims off and yea meh! Needs improving a lot.
"VRMultigames" is a pointless VR tech demo, a small collection of pointless VR minigames and a promise to deliver more... and that was a broken promise as the developers saw how badly this failed and walked away from it, leaving more unfinished pollution on Steam. What do you do in the game? There's a sports/goalkeeping minigame, a wave survival bow and arrow game, and a lightsaber game, so we can all hope Disney sues. Despite not being in Early Access, it's obvious this is an incomplete product. Developers have an obligation to deliver complete, not partially done products to gamers, that shouldn't be controversial. Whatever the excuses may be, it does no service to gamers for incomplete products polluting Steam like this. It makes it harder for gamers to find complete games, and it makes it harder for ethical developers who do the right thing to find their audience. Even though the game looks pretty bad (and decent visuals are a minimum requirement for any game), we can be fairly sure this is not an asset flip. This is because the game assets look so bad, no self respecting asset creator would publish them. That's a fail. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets of any level of quality usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. This game is ancient, it's over 10 years old... it's heavily dated and isn't going to give you a remotely contemporary gaming experience... another reason for gamers to be hesitant about adding this to their libraries. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. A peak of 15 concurrent players (according to SteamDB) for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the game. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? What's the verdict? This is a hard pass. There's no immediate financial commitment, but there are thousands of more compelling games on the platform that will give you a lot more enjoyment for your time.

This was one of the first games that I played in VR with locomotion… I can actually move around in VR!? That was years ago, but I still remember the awe. Teleporting to a real high perch in the “Last Stand” game, and sniping the enemies. Good times! Not a whole lot of content, or depth, but hey, did you notice it’s free? You can’t go wrong. Thumbs: UP!
Unless this game receives a complete overhaul, I don't see myself playing it anytime soon. PROS: -High frames -Fun games -It's all creative -Archery is always a plus -It has potential CONS: -No sound -The Goalie game is too random and usually had two cannons firing at the same time, which made it too hard (at least for me) -The archery game had the enemies spawning too close and since there is no sound, there was no way to tell where or when they were coming. -Only 3 games so far Nothing I would recommend but I wish to see lots of improvement and change
Nice for a couple of hours or as a short demo, but not a complete game.
This is apparently not a set of actual minigames, but a set of tests the dev wanted to do for creating games. Each game is interesting, but flawed. Shows little effort, but again, just tests. It's free, so give it a try. The archery game has a particularly cool environment. Also includes vr modern art that resembles a woman's body... so 10/10
Very nice game
pretty cool mini games glad to se dev anounces more games durring the era of the great touch support update of steam vr. One of the first VR games i played and the bow game had me getting my first tatse of a vr NPC getting up in my face ADRENALINE RUSH many games have done it since but this once got me first.
As a free game, there's no reason not to try it out, but this really shows its age. Collisions are unpredictable, AI is strange (and doesn't work well in smallish spaces), and controls show the lack of refinement of early VR games. Drone Fight Sorta fun, but the hitbox for the player seems far outside of yourself. You basically have a lightsaber to block/deflect the drone blasters, but I still seemed to get hit even when blocking a number of times, and that doesn't count when the blasts just fail to collide with your sword at all. The bolts also have pretty large hitboxes, larger than their animation it seems, leading to shooting a drone repeatedly only for it to not die when expected because it shooting at the last minute cancelled out one or two of your shots. Last Stand The most fun of the three games, but there are a lot of games with much better bow play, including the bow that comes with Oculus Home. To nock an arrow, you have to be right on the center of the bow (which isn't even how bows work), while even a bit to either side of the dead center of the long "center" part will fail. Arrows also have far less speed and are far more affected by gravity than real arrows, or other (better) archery simulators for VR. Additionally, this suffers the most from playing roomscale without around 3m (10 feet) on a side. You're next to a pillar, and enemies spawn behind that pillar, and if you don't have around 10 feet to strafe back and forth in real life, you will have to wait until the half second between them coming around the pillar and being on top of you to kill them. Or, because the AI is fairly rudimentary, you may have a rifleman stuck on the other side of the pillar just shooting the wall, forcing you to lean out of your Guardian (or non-Rift equivalent) to take them out. Goalkeeper Simulator Wonky collisions and movement in a game that is all about using collisions and movement. I had balls pass straight through the "hands" you use to block due to poor hitboxes and physics, and rather than giving you something predictable like a solid object, instead the hands rotate on their sticks sometimes to keep it forward facing, which can be unpredictable. You reach out to stop a ball with the "palm" of the hand, but suddenly the hand has changed orientation and isn't pointed at all towards the ball. One round was plenty for me to decide that it was just broken. Summary Free games are always good, and easily worth a try, but this was a showcase at the dawn of VR technology, and has aged quite poorly. I can't even say that it's really worth the time to download and try it.
