Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
About
Sums Steam + Google Play only; App Store publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

VRChat is one of the most chaotic, unsafe, and poorly moderated online platforms I’ve ever used. The developers advertise it as a social space for creativity and connection, but the reality is completely different. Public worlds feel like a free‑for‑all where the worst behavior goes unchecked, and the people who intentionally ruin the experience seem to operate without consequences. The platform is overflowing with harassment, predatory behavior, and users who exploit every loophole they can find. Crashers roam freely, destroying instances just for fun. People use malicious avatars designed to lag, freeze, or kick others out of the game. And instead of stepping in, VRChat’s moderation feels practically nonexistent. Reports vanish into a void, and the same disruptive users keep showing up day after day. What makes it even worse is how vulnerable users — especially younger ones — are left completely exposed. There are minors wandering into adult worlds, hearing and seeing things they should never be exposed to, and VRChat does almost nothing to prevent it. The platform’s “safety” tools are basically window dressing. They look good on paper, but in practice they do almost nothing to protect anyone. The most disturbing part is the feeling that VRChat is protecting the wrong people. Instead of cracking down on exploiters, harassers, and people who make the platform unsafe, VRChat seems more focused on maintaining its image and pushing updates that don’t address the real problems. They talk about community safety, but the actual environment tells a completely different story. It feels like they’re ignoring the issues, hoping users will just deal with it on their own. Every time you join a public lobby, you’re rolling the dice: Will it be a normal conversation, or will someone crash the instance, spam offensive content, or harass everyone in sight? VRChat has become a place where you constantly have to block, mute, and world‑hop just to avoid the chaos. That’s not a social platform — that’s survival. VRChat could be incredible. It should be incredible. But until the developers stop protecting the status quo and start protecting their users, the platform will remain a breeding ground for unsafe behavior, unchecked harassment, and people who thrive on making others miserable. Right now, VRChat feels less like a community and more like a neglected playground where the worst actors run the show. Ps i have reported the problem and they dont care.

I'm not really a fan of this game because of my experience with it. I find the player base to be quite unfriendly and toxic, and it's just not a very nice environment. It's simply not for me.
