VR Construction Lab

Bob der Baumeister war beim VR Construction Lab im Chronos HQ. Eine Bau- Simulation oder Erfahrung oder änliches. VR Construction Lab soll wohl ein lustiges Konstruktionsspiel sein, bei dem wir auch noch etwas lernen können. Nehmen wir nach einer ernüchternen Erfahrung, dazu mehr im folgenden, den Enticklertext auseinander... Wir sollen also in jedem der Level, es gibt vier, Dinge zusammenbauen. Das Zusammenbauen beschränkt sich lediglich darauf, den benötigten Gegenstand an die richtige Stelle zu halten und dieser schnappt dann ein. Zudem wird der genaue Ort farblich angezeigt. Im ersten Level halten wir drei Grundformen in die dafür vorgesehene Position. Beim zweiten kopieren wir einen vorgebauten Klemmbausteineturm, der dem Original aus Dänemark gefährlich nahe kommt. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3126832335 Dann müssen wir eine Isolierung nach Vorlage zusammentüfteln und zu guter letzt eine halbe Trockenbauwandhütte auf einem Flughafen oder so. Wir können nur teleportieren, das kann ich noch nachvollziehen, da das Programm wohl für Schüler ist, und die üblicherweise nicht alle Zugang zu VR haben, es gibt keine freie Bewegung. Aufnehmen können wir nur die Bauelemente, die wir nur an Ort und Stelle anclippen müssen, es gibt keine Werkzeuge oder sonstiges. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3126832675 Doch Leitern, die sich per Menü zuschalten lassen. Auf die Leitern per Teleport zu klettern ist fast schon unmöglich, der Teleportpunkt auf den Streben ist winzig und nur mit Glück zu treffen. Die Videofilme, die die Aufgabe beschreiben sind nicht der Rede wert. Der Spaß besteht wohl darin so schnell wie möglich fertig zu werden. Die Steuerung versaut das ganze Programm. A construction simulation or experience or something similar. VR Construction Lab is supposed to be a fun construction game where we can also learn something. After a sobering experience, let's take the developer's text apart... We are supposed to assemble things in each of the levels, of which there are four. Assembling is simply a matter of holding the required object in the right place and it snaps into place. The exact location is also shown in color. In the first level, we hold three basic shapes in the designated position. In the second, we copy a pre-built brick tower that comes dangerously close to the original from Denmark. Then we have to put together insulation based on the original and, last but not least, half a drywall hut at an airport or something. We can only teleport, I can understand that, because the program is probably for students and they don't usually all have access to VR, there's no free movement. We can only pick up the building elements, which we only have to clip on the spot, there are no tools or anything else. But there are ladders that can be activated via the menu. Climbing the ladders via teleport is almost impossible, the teleport point on the struts is tiny and can only be hit with luck. The videos describing the task are not worth mentioning. The fun is probably in finishing as quickly as possible. The controls mess up the whole program.
