Volcano Princess

This is a cute game. It's a combo of a visual novel, lite RPG, and raising a daughter. I liked it enough to play through and get all the different endings (not that challenging if you have your specs correct for each run). You will have to play through 3 full times though due to the 3 different options you choose for the dad and the school (basically brains, brawn or beauty). There are only two things that aren't great: 1) The English translations could use some work. It's generally good enough, but there are times when it says things like "ambiguous" for the vibe on a date, but it then says it was perfect. 2) Some of the characters that are romance options are A LOT older than the little girl. You can ignore them, but it's still weird.

I have never cared so much about a fictional characters life and choices before. Good practice for anyone who wants to be a father in the medieval times. 10/10, my daughter is the sweetest and kindest soul the Volcano Kingdom has ever seen and I am super proud of her.

It's a very charming game with pretty simple mechanics. I grew very attached to my daughter even if I got a pretty ♥♥♥♥ ending for her. The translation messes up the names every once in a while so it becomes hard to keep up sometimes, but I enjoyed this and I'm looking forward to getting a couple more endings for her. I recommend!
