You will be expected to hand over cash to the "developers" just for playing the game.[/quote] "Virtuar Z" is just one of thousands of non-free mobile apps polluting the "free" category on Steam, and it carries hidden, toxic monetization. This is an abandoned Early Access PvP arena shooter with flipped looking assets, but from Indonesia, which is a bit weird because most of the asset flips infesting Steam come from BRICS nations. Anyway, it doesn't matter where it's from, it matters what it is, and what it is is terrible. This is a dead PvP "tacticool" shooter where the developers couldn't work out how to finish the game at all, but still managed to publish it on Google Play and infest it with microtransactions and a fully functioning back end financial payment system so they can collect all the money from the mobile peasant piggies. This is a purely superficial game experience designed for iPhones. The graphics and the mechanics are bottom-tier... imagine the gaudy, cheap plastic casing on the slot machines at the casino. That's what this is, a cheap flashy veneer on a shallow non-game with one single purpose... to get your money through nasty mobile app microtransactions. Putting that toxic mobile app monetisation aside... this is a mobile app. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming PC so I could pretend it's an iPhone, and I don't think you did either... this kind of mobile app has no place in your Steam library. As with all mobile scams, you're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality mobile app, this is specifically designed to invalidate your consumer rights and destroy your right to privacy. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. It seems this was abandoned by the devs 1 year and 5 months ago. It will stay incomplete forever. These unfinished, abandoned game attempts just clog the storefront and make it difficult for players to find honest, fully developed games. Despite not being able to finish the game, the developers apparently had all the time in the world to build that fully functional cash shop, and financial transaction back-end system into the game. That shows the developers primary goal was just to set out to gouge cash from Steam gamers just like mobile devs do with mobile peasants. Next is pricing and what value this has for gamers. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at [b]only 3 concurrent players[/b]... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
