Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my initial impressions review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/wwae7BytG6s If you want stupid, arcade hunting action fun, then this is the game for you. However, please be advised this game is budget-priced for a reason: it is very janky. The weapon handling is really bad. The animations are not good. Your jeep will clip through several trees. You'll have difficulty reloading your weapon with a bear charging at you (actually that might be considered a positive). Anyways, you get my point. This is not a good game by any stretch of the imagination. However, I was having lots of stupid fun playing this game. It's really outrageous. There's several different levels. On several of them you're on a jeep and you're just shooting at animals as your jeep drives automatically down it's predetermined path. You'll shoot several animals including deer, rabbits, coyotes, wolves, wild boars / havelinas, cougars, bears, etc. Once you get enough money to unlock an assault rifle, you can go boat hunting while several crocodiles try to take you down. It's stupid and I had so much fun playing the boat level. You also have a couple levels where you're stationary or can teleport around stationary area blinds. One of them is a "duck hunt" level where you have your automatic shotgun and can go ham on a bunch of mallards flying above you while your dog fetches your kills. You can feel like Elmer Fudd in VR! Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting steady 90 fps on high graphical settings. I did not experience any serious issues or bugs, other than those mentioned above. This is a stand-still 360 hunting experience, so you probably can only play standing. For $5 USD, you really can't complain too much. Yes, there's many issues with this experience, but it's also lots of stupid fun. Where else in VR can you go gator-hunting on a boat with an AK-47? Worth $5 USD just for that! Had a good time with this arcade-like hunting experience. Kind of brings me back to playing big buck hunter at the movie theaters. Would recommend. A lot of content and replayability for 5 bucks. Especially for a VR game!
I have just started playing this game and I love it. <3 BiS the WOoves are good.
