Really Nice and Chill Game
Details: (MY experience is %100 on controller) a one-shot title that lasts no more than a couple hours. fun, simple, minimalist, free, though a little janky. general polish is competent & to be expected for the limited development process of a student project Points of success: easy to learn, elements are thoughtfully introduced, little or no down time. map is well crafted and secrets are nicely placed. once adjusted for, the platforming is fun even if a little primitive. Points of failure: 1) platforming is janky for two main reasons, which require the player to adjust for them, making platforming feel very sticky & unnatural. 1-A) auto grapple to walls, causes many platforming issues, and sabotages many jumps. ...player must avoid all walls they wish not to stick on. solution: bind wall hanging to an input other than just directional movement. 1-B) poor platforming collision: the characters bounding box does not line up with the feet during jump animation, causing every platform to feel like their collision boxes are all an extra foot off the ground. ...player must jump higher than what would be intuitive . 2) combat is clunky due to a poor lock-on & awkward air attack aiming, etc. 3) camera is slow even at max sensitivity. 4) ambient audio is a little empty. 5) no endgame/replayability ie; [new-game +] &/or [custom content support]. Conclusion: nothing ground breaking or innovative, just a simple generic 3d platformer, that neither impresses nor disappoints, i would love to see more future projects from the devs.
Fun game. Just wish the dash would reset when landing on a wall, it would definitely allow for more fun platforming
Very cute, short game. Feels like a mix between Zelda OOT and the Lego games. Would love to see more games like this, would even buy a longer "full" version of it.
This game doesn't really have the story aspect to it, however if you're an adventurer type of gamer and wanna try other quick adventure games, then definitely give this game a try. It's simple yet so satisfying how si-fi the game feels. I tried 100% the game on my first go but I couldn't find my last 3 treasure chests. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they are hard to find. Also for some reason I think this would work really well as a film, nothing groundbreaking or time traveling or incredibly complicated, just a simple si-fi adventure film. But please if anyone has a video 100% the game, please send it to me. I wanna try and 100% speedrun the game maybe if possible. The one thing I will say is that sometimes it feels like it's hard to control the character, when jumping for example. But it doesn't take away from the experience at all. Definitely give this game a try
