Even if I didn't finish the game, I appreciate indie developer's labor of love to produce these retrogames. Kudos to you FobTi, hope to see you in some future titles that come across in backlog.

A fantastic twin stick shooter. It's more complex than you think though. You have a base that has your flower that you have to protect. The mini map is earned, although I think it should have been received automatically. When you obtain 3 watering cans and bring them to the flower, you go to the next level. It's not as simple as it seems though. Also, to get every upgrade from the store for half price, you have to beat a maze. The maze was very frustrating at first, but once you know the pattern it's easy. The whole game probably took me an hour to figure out what was going on, but once I got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing. Make sure you build the turrets up to protect your flower. I'm still not sure which turret does what. The only negative for me was in the beginning when I didn't earn the minmap, searching for the base with the watering can in hand. The teleport won't work when you are holding a watering can. Also, the flashing red lights were disorienting, and hurt my eyes. Overall, this is a hidden gem, but it will take some time getting used to. I played the whole way through, and the game took me 6 hours to complete the 12 levels. Hidden gem. Controller friendly.

A very cute ZX Spectrum styled twin-stick shooter mixed with tower defense. It may not look like it, but it's quite similar to Dungeon of the ENDLESS :D A must for all 8-bit fans!

Has usual with FobTi another really coffee break game. Love the concept even if for my old boomer's eyes the "ZX Spectrum" color palette is a little hard to read :)

Very cutesy action game with old school art. If you are up for a retro adventure and like exploration, give it a go! It doesn't look that challenging, but it's not easy. Also, there are some mechanics I didn't get at first, but you learn as you progress more in the game.

Perfektný mix Robotrona a Tower Defense. Ako fanúšik 8bit-ov a majiteľ ZX-Spectra ma táto hra veľmi potešila. Ako by to priamo zo ZX-ka vypadlo haha :D Grafika je roztomilá a perfektne animovaná, gameplay tak isto. Ulohou je ochrániť kvetinku v strede komplexu a nájsť pre ňu 3 zavlažovacie krhly, znie to jednoducho, ale opak je pravdou. Akonáhle jednu z krhiel nájdete a zoberiete, začnú z kanalizácie vyliezať enemáci aby si na nej pochutnali. Trochu mi to pripomína aj Dungeon of Endless že by sa autor inšpiroval? :D Pozor, tá kvetina nie je tým, čím sa zdá byť! :O ale nechcem spojlovať :D za mňa 7/10 +1 bod ak ste fanúšikom ZX-ka ;-)

Me ha encantado, crecí en los 80 con un Spectrum 128 y este juego bebe completamente de esa época. Bonito gameplay , buenas mecánicas. Y para mi, recomendado!

Vermitron is incredibly fun and all consuming. From a visual standpoint the graphics are lovely and are such a nostalgic throwback for retro gaming. The game-play is engaging enough where I could see myself playing it all day (I just bought it). The only thing I don't understand is how this doesn't have more user reviews - it's a great price for the time that was put into this game and the functions you can perform in it. TBH, it should be a crime how underplayed this is. If you like space/cats/dogs/protecting the last flower from earth that also smells for some reason, shooter games with strategy elements and a bit of tower defense involved, then this game is for you.
