2023.11.15 白金了Verde Station。 实话实说,不看指南我都不知道这游戏要我做什么,白金跑路。
This ~1hr experience is...not great. It's got what it's trying to do but it's presented incredibly shallowly. The sound design/effects used are horrendous and this game is a lightning rod for motion sickness. Unfortunately this was not a pleasant experience for me.

great game definitely one of those games that you want to play through blind and never be able to play it again. highly recommend if you want to feel insane.
Verde Station feels like a small fan mission for e.g. Half-Life. You wake up in a space station – all alone of course – and walk from a bedroom to a greenhouse, then to a lounge, the kitchen, and back into the greenhouse. What makes it interesting is that time passes when looping through the sections. Keep circling around in the sections to observe the changes, and you will be led to a new location and a surprise. As a free game, I’d say the surprise is worth giving it a shot – just don’t expect awesomeness. Pros

The surprise at the end makes it worth playing as it's free on Steam.
Some interesting things to try out in the terminals, like simulated DOS commands.
Cons

Mediocre graphics and sound effects.
Feels like a fan mission for a commercial game.
Virtually no puzzles except for finding one easy 4-digit code.
It shouldn’t even take you an hour to complete it.
Verde Station

Positives:
+ Acceptable graphics + Ok sounds and music + Ok designed spaceship + Achievements + FOV adjuster + Its free + It ends
Negatives:
- So utterly boring so fast - The tasks are very uninspiring and no fun at all - Not much to do or see - Very little to explore - Lasts for 1.5 hour but feels like forever - Extremely overrated
Conclusion:
I read so many positive reviews of this game, on how good, original and mindf*ck it was. The only mindf*ck is how boring a game can be. Only the ending was ok and a relief. This was not my cup of tea. Even though its free, you can easily skip this one.
Total Score: 3/10
Lovely short game that messes with your mind. Gameplay wise you don't do much in order to progress, but for a free game I found it pretty awesome. The way your surroundings change reacting to what you decide to interact with -and there are a lot of things you can interact with- does an amazing job at adding a subtle creepy vibe to the experience. I honestly loved this game, good job devs!
Verde Station is a game that messes with you a bit. You are thrown into maintaining a space station and soon stuff stops making sense. Gameplay-wise it's a walking simulator where you explore the station and interact with objects and computers. I didn't get many answers in my playthrough, but I feel that there are multiple ways to finish it so I might return to it sometime. In this playthrough I tried to do everything "right", but I get the feeling that you might get more answers if you work against the game a bit. It's not a good-looking game, but maybe that's to be expected from an indie game from 2014. I do think it would've held up a bit better if it was a bit more stylized though instead of realism. The sound design is good when it comes to how sound is used and the general soundscape, but the quality of the sounds is quite frankly bad. I would've liked for it to be a bit less cryptic and for the logs you find to be more clear. The writing wasn't that strong and the lack of clarity made stuff unmemorable. When a game depends on logs (either audio or written) to tell a story the quality of the writing needs to be as good as if you're reading a book. Otherwise, the player spends haft the time thinking about how to remember these random names they have no connection to just in case they'll miss something if they don't. Overall a nice experience and the story had a fun twist.
It is an interesting game. I enjoyed it
I don't want to give away to much about the game, as I feel it's best played with as little knowledge of the game, in order to best enjoy it. Play the game, Follow your instincts and enjoy the ride. This game goes to show how little you need, in order to provide a great experience.
