This story will kill your desire to retire somewhere in a house in the wilderness. The main character was entrusted with a very simple task: to look after a country house. But the secrets that this house concealed will leave deep scars in his soul.
I LOVED this game! It was so well put together and fun!
this game was okay 7/10 :)
https://youtu.be/NzKVdGK9pqA?si=OQ0RNAifmhS-bZRa Veins of Darkness really surprised me. The dark atmosphere is incredibly well done you constantly feel watched, and there's this eerie tension that never fully lets go. The level design feels oppressive in the best way, and the sound design adds a ton to the overall immersion. What stood out to me most was how the game uses light and shadow not just visually impressive, but also cleverly tied into the gameplay. The core gameplay blends survival, exploration, psychological horror, and some light puzzle elements. You play as a regular shift worker stuck in a remote rental house... but something evil is clearly lurking there. The story unfolds in a slow burn, keeping you on edge the whole time. Final verdict: If you're into dark, atmospheric horror that leans more psychological than jumpscare heavy, Veins of Darkness is definitely worth checking out. It's not your typical mainstream horror game – it has a vibe and identity all its own.
Great horror game for the price, about 50minutes long. One really good jump scare that took me out lol. The objectives of the game through me off a little at the start but just need to walk around more is all. https://youtu.be/ZgrijnnF8Ak
pissed my pants more than a few times. love it
interesting but some of the puzzles are wonky https://youtu.be/xBgyHaW8NOI?si=27huN92Tme6z6wmO
I liked the first introduction to the game, it's moderately difficult and scary.
Totally recommend. The length is just right for a game where you can't save. That is a big plus! The game play is varied with puzzles that are just right... it is actually fun to play. Yeah, you could be a little picky here and there and I'll admit some things noted in other reviews can be rather irritating but not too bad. Solid 8/10 in the inde horror game category.
