The video of the features state picture-in-picture and multicam. This isn't in this version, you would have to buy the Pro edition. Without these features (and more features in the Pro edition) you can just continue to use Windows Moviemaker. I refunded as I wanted those features. If the Pro edition is on sale, I would suggest buying that as I must say the user interface in Vegas is very easy and with clear tutorials. It's a shame not all advertised features are in the "cheap" edition.

I've worked with programs before for video editing with VEGAS Movie Studio 15 Steam Edition. I played around a bit, and this application does its purpose, and that is editing videos. As a small YouTuber, I mean very small, 26 subs, not a whole lot. I'm learning how to edit myself as I go, and it's quite damn fun to me. Editing with VEGAS Movie Studio 15 may take awhile, depending how much time and effort you want to put into it on your learning, YouTube tutorials were a big help when I started out. So far with my time, I never really witnessed any hiccups as in crashes, so that's good. [h1] Would I Recommend This Product?[/h1] Heck yes! I can't really say what the difference is between these applications, such as Platinium. I do believe you just have more features and so on. Features as in ones I never used, or need to. I'm just using this application just to get myself by in making decent video's, even memes. The price is fair for what it is, especially on sale. I got this at a whopping $30 and glad I made the judgment on doing so on getting this a few hours ago. So yes, get it if you're starting out with Video Editing. Edit: Later today I rendered and uploaded my first video at 60fps and 1080p of the game VRChat I recorded and edited with this Software. The results were great!

DO NOT BUY After my refund period expired, this software started returning a -59 error and claimed I did not have a valid license. It would not let me launch at all and I submitted a refund request knowing I probably won't get it. Many other users have reported the issue and it's believed to be an issue within their DRM. This version is a also scam anyways. Some of the features shown in the video are not for this version. It's for the more expensive Pro version.

Crashes frequently, though it often auto saves so if you're lucky you won't lose too much progression. If you, like me mistakingly purchased the standard Vegas Movie Studio 15 and not the platinum version you are going to find that you have incredibly limited functionality, standard editing tools are missing from this version for example you can't even fullscreen the preview screen. This standard version feels like a beginners tool for editing which is kinda fine, apart from it denies you simple functionality and, well continuesly crashes... So if you need a cheap editing tool(as in you only buy this in a sale) and can live with the above then ye it does the job. If you need the full functions you need the platinum version or I'd suggest looking at other applications.

So far, so good. I needed a basic video editing software for future projects and the fact that it has music maker included is a huge plus. I had been using LMMS and Windows movie maker and both have their drawbacks. Music maker feels very close to Sonic Foundry's acid, which I had used for many years as a teenager. The combination of tools provided with this bundle allows for anyone to begin making highly customized digital content without having to spend a fortune.

This version of VEGAS Movie Studio 15 Steam Edition is missing a lot of features that the other versions have however if you're looking for a simple video editing software, I think it's great. As a streamer I use this program to chop up my streams into episodes, add an intro and outro, and that's about it. It does everything I need it to.

Last night, the first video I was working on after more than 30 hours editing it, no longer loads the project file for no reason. All the time and energy I spent went down the drain and I can't even imagine why. This is unacceptable. I bought the software recently and it was working fine. I had a ton of work done with this video and now I can't even load the project file. I was in the middle of it... Very, very unhappy. If I receive no answer from the technical support I will ask for a refund.
