Vanquish The Eternal

(Playtester so I have more hours outside of Steam) Really fun arcade style roguelike that reminds me a bit of Vampire Survivors mixed with Diablo II. I haven't played Diablo II since I was a kid, but with the more skill based combat, the graphics, and the tunes, it gives me that vibe a bit. If you've played games like this before you might find the early NG levels a bit too easy but as you progress through the more difficult modifiers it gets really chaotic. Lots of different things to unlock to power yourself up too, and it's a lot of fun testing different builds as you go. My favorite part of the game is probably the boss fights. 7 bosses in a single run is sick and you can tell a lot of work went into each one. They've all got unique designs and intersting attacks and patterns to learn. I'd honestly pay for the game just to fight all the bosses as that's always the most exciting part to me. tl;dr if you like hectic skill based combat that keeps you on your toes and some sweet boss fights, give this a go. 30 min rounds go by quick and it's easy to get immersed in the world and the music

Addicting and challenging game. Lots of things to unlock as you play this roguelight game. Variety of characters and abilities to choose. I was stuck on the first run because I stayed as the same character insisting I can beat it with the butcher but I will progress to the NG+ Level. Right now I am between a 7 and 8 out of 10. More toward 8 with the voices and the music. I would like to be able to select through the playlist of what songs to have and not to have but its not the end of the world. (I got this Game for free to show on my stream but that does not effect my Review 0-10) ****UPDATE**** 8 out of 10! WE BEAT THE FIRST 30 min Session FINALLY!!!!! and yet still more to play with the other 20+ rounds!!!!! you like rogue like games and constant horde coming after you with some old school Nintendo like pattern bosses? GET THIS GAME!!!!

Indie game with voice acting?!?! yes pleeeeaaasse!! Super fun and slightly addicting game. I'm learning better ways to play each round that keeps me coming back for more.

I like it a lot. Grabbed it because it was cheap and looked spooky for the season. Lots of fun.

So far, I like this a lot. I'm a huge fan of Vampire Survivors and the like, and this hits those same notes for me. Controls are tight, progression feels rewarding, soundtrack kicks ass. And I like that the playable characters actually have a voice (JonBreaksBadNews as the Alchemist!!). All in all, it's a solid game and I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes VS and other similar games.

Fun game where progression gets you upgrades to use in further fights. Very addicting game play with fun voice-acting.

Very fun bullet hell game with a nice challenge! Plays very well and has a great soundtrack and tons of replayability! if you find yourself looking for a new Vampire Survivors style game to grind look no further!

Told myself I'd play only one round... ended up trying again and again! I really enjoyed the different character/background selection options. It was also nice to have easy gameplay to get used to. Very addicting game!

Think Hades meets Vampire Survivors. Much more engaging than other Survivors-like games, with lots of interesting choices to make. If you're comfortable with a skill floor, check it out yourself
