Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
"Vanity" is another low key asset flip. This is just a collection of mismatched (probably store-bought or free stock) assets thrown together to form a basic, shallow experience... more designed for the sake of an amateur developer being able to call themselves a "game developer" thanks to Steam Direct and stock assets than a product designed for gamers. For that reason it's obviously not going to provide a decent gaming experience. The developer decided to make a third person console shooter and publish it on PC, out of a horribly mismatched set of other people's game assets... it was shunned en masse by gamers. And it's one thing to just plagiarize other people's game assets and slap them together badly like the second coming of Digital Homicide (the guys who tried to sue Valve because Jim Sterling rightly pointed out they were asset flippers), but the developer here tried to charge money for this... he wanted YOUR money for other people's game assets. This is never okay! This game is essentially a bunch of other people's stock assets rearranged and kitbashed into a "game", so with those "borrowed" assets, at first glance it looks okay. But there's much more to a game than the appearance that other people's game assets can provide. When developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the job of a game developer either, and it shows here. This application appears to have been abandoned 6 months ago. It will stay incomplete forever. Unfinished, dead utilities like this just clog the Steam software section and make it harder for users to find applications that are actually maintained. Let's talk about pricing and the actual value this has for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $10 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. A peak of 9 concurrent players (according to SteamDB) for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the game. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
