It might not be the game of the year, however I felt wholly statisfied when I was playing at. The formula is simple, but for sure it does work : nostalgia from Vampire Survivors, easy to get the hang of it, a lot of achievements to unlock. Basically an addictive deck building game. However, if you're looking for some challenge, you could be disappointed. Even though, at some point, it allows you to level up the difficulty with some "bonus", it would be far from to be enough, because that's not the purpose of the game, it wasn't design for that. Anyhoo, if you're looking for a fun, chill game that fall you back into childhood, you've got the right one.
Fun Deckbuilder + First Person Dungeon Crawler hybrid. Simple and fast to play.
I can't really understand why I am so addicted to this game ! But Damn, it's so fun !
▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▱▱

Great

Summary
Vampire Crawlers is a great game. It's ridiculously fun with an absurd amount of snappy-ness. It's completely customizable on how hard or how easy you want it to be. Some of the characters are guaranteed wins while others seem to be a struggle to get online. There's some basics on how to approach every deck that unfortunately really disincentivize varied deck building, but beyond that, the game is very fun. Without a more expressive form of deck building, the game unfortunately does get extremely repetitive, as every deck just wants a massive amount of wild cards and mana. But beyond that, it's a fun mix of genres I'd recommend to anyone.
Game is fun.
