Now, this is a pretty niche game in itself, but as a queer PoC who spent my formative years on Tumblr, I'm definitely a part of the target audience. And I have to say - I really like this game. The writing is really strong and the art is gorgeous. At the time of writing this review, I've completed three of the four available characters' "routes." All of them look and feel so real, like they're people I've met or interacted with online. Even the ones that seem like face-value joke characters at first have deep issues underneath. Sometimes it gets a little too real for me, but that just goes to show the believability of it all. It got me thinking about my own life as a struggling single, and what I can learn from the characters to make improvements. That's not to say this game isn't without its flaws - I ran into a ton of bugs, and occasionally some that made the game unplayable so I'd have to restart the routes. The mechanics can also be pretty clunky, which I didn't think was possible in a visual-novel style game. But other than that this is a really heartfelt game with beautiful illustrations. It's sad to see it get review-bombed for having a majority nonwhite cast and crew. I'm looking forward to the next volume. :) MalikxArihi forever.
♥♥♥♥ it. Normally when I make a review on this account I would try to make some of my thoughts about what I played sound cogent in text. I'll make an exception here. If this is the worst VN--hell WRITING--that you've read in a videogame then my god have you lived a privileged life. It must be nice.
Really enjoy the art and writing of this game! The character design is immaculate and the music is really immersive 🥰🌷 I appreciate how real the character writing is and the content warnings and accessibility options are really great features, too!
Full of entertaining plot twists.
A very well made game. All the characters are quite interesting and I'm excited to see more of this game and these stories soon. I may not play many games in general but it is fun to go back and replay this game going down whatever route I choose the story to go in. Glad i found this game , i would definitely recommend it to anyone trying to get into stories with interesting characters, character development , and romance.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this game, and I'm waiting with baited breath for the next chapters to drop. Please tell me they're soon The characters feel very realistic, their stories feel very honest. It's enjoyable to have characters I relate too on a very deep level, and I enjoy that not every route ends with love, sex, etc Would love to see more from this developer, whether its more chapters for this game or an entire new game
