Valheim

Bottom Line Up Front: While I'm sure it's not the Developer's intention, Valheim feels like it's designed to waste your time. From the very beginning, every craft, every action, ever objective seems purpose built to take as long as possible and be as cumbersome as it can. One positive is the ability to adjust drop rates, but I would expect a game that has been in development since 2021 to have figured out healthy drops for progression right now, when they're at the cusp of a 1.0 release. The only other saving grace is the price, which is much easier to accept given the game will just barely inconvenience you enough until you're outside the refund window, and then ask you to put an entire species of boars to the torch just to make a single tanning rack. If you like working for free, or paying someone to do work for them Valheim is for you.

It very addictive and all come together so well. Sometime you can just relax. But I wish there more quality of life and more inventory slot for amour and stuff.

Better corners for 1.0 (?
