If you can get past the key binding for basic movement, it's prolly a decent game. not for me. controls feel very weird. NEXT.

long story short, dont play. it is actually full of kids and overly toxic people. the controls are weird, the UI is weird and confusing, gun play is kinda weird but you can get some what use to it after a bit but its still VERY questionable why they did it like that, your on body weapon slots are weird. your better off playing pavlovVR over this thing. i heard contractors was pretty good and better then pavlov but i never tried it. played it 3 different time frames on 3 different days and each time the game put me in some hub world instead of in my own armory and i have no idea how to change that as i would prefer not being surrounded by random people when login into a game. first day i did the tutorial and then went into the extraction mode (what got me to try the game) and i figured i could just go in without loot because i figured the game would give me like a free basic 4 slot backpack and maybe find a gun while looting but no, your not given a single thing aside from a knife so i ran round and looked for loot or even a backpack but i only semi rarely found random items that you cant even use for healing or anything aside from selling, so yes i ended up dying and then trying 2 more times before getting off. second day i was put in the social hub as soon as i login (i really hate it when games do this, please stop) and quickly went back to my armory to try and make a cheep basic loadout for the extraction game mode. gave myself a pistol with some extra mags and a backpack with some healing items and then started a match. this was when i found out that im put into a 3 player squad and since im mute and had no way to communicate with my team, i just followed them and then got instantly gunned down by someone hiding in a tower who you cant even see because they blended in with the tower's black celling and i lost all the stuff that i brought in. so i started a another match and said "screw it, im just going to try and grab 1 or 2 items and extract, then i got paired with 1 guy from my previous team and someone new and they rush into a building and started a fight and since i only had knifes i had no way to actually fight and then kept being called slurs by one of my team mates and being told that they were going to report me to get me banned. cool... third day i log in and thought i would try out the mining and see if i can unlock the full game or maybe even get myself some cosmetics or something. im put into the social hub AGAIN so i tried to make a private lobby so that i could explore the hub and stuff, only to find out that i cant make a private hub at all and since i didnt want to try the extraction game mode again after what happened last time and there not being a way to play solo in the extraction game mode. i just decided to quit the game. clearly theres no reason to play it if im forced to play with randoms in game modes that should have the option to play solo and having to constantly deal with questionable design choses and a toxic/mostly kids community.
