Vaccine Delivery Simulator

Recommended... but with cautions. Pros: 1) Well, it's short and casual. Some nice light fluff to play between open-world games. 2) It's an indie game. Support the indies! 3) It's cheap: I paid about a buck per hour for its entertainment, and I'd say that's about right. 4) It has some nice Russian flavor to it. 5) There's a decent number of levels (30-odd?): it finishes just about when you're sick of it and wishing it would end. 6) Achievement hunters can be confident all achievements work and can be obtained in 3 hours or less. Cons/Cautions: 1) A *time-limit* game. Just about every level has a time limit. If you hate that, you'll hate this. 2) A short game. I completed it, including all achievements, in 3 hours. 3) Difficult, repetitive and grindy. Each level is a few seconds long, and you'll be redoing many levels dozens of times, trying to get the pixel-perfect shot. 4) If you miss an achievement, you'll need to replay the whole darn game to get it again. 5) Simplistic plot/gameplay/etc. 6) It's built in Unity, but with IL2CPP, so is not easily moddable :( 7) Cutscene and tutorial speech is in Russsian, so you need to be OK reading subtitles... not that the plot is important. 8) The tutorial is a bit slow and annoying in that you have to wait for the instructor to speak explaining WASD and mouse before you can move, etc. But you can skip the tutorial when starting a new game, which is nice. The goal of MOST levels is to throw syringes at patients who are hidden from you and are too far away to get to in time, so you have to guess the perfect place to throw from, at the perfect arc to hit them. You'll guess wrong, but after enough retries you'll have narrowed it down and eventually hit them. After a few levels, you'll become surprisingly good at figuring out how to throw them. Your character walks frustratingly slowly, dies if he falls a short way or touches water, can't run/jump/climb, and doesn't even have much of a throwing arm. The right mousebutton lets you zoom in, but I never found myself using that. So the only relevant controls are WASD and left-mouse to throw. Levels get increasingly hard, several times making me say things like "Awww hell, you have GOT to be kidding!"... but since even I, Mr "no co-ordination or reflexes" managed to 100% the game in 3 hours, all levels are possible. There are some nice change-of-pace levels (a few map-exploration levels to find the patients and administer a non-thrown vaccine; a couple of "hit the moving patient multiple times" boss-levels; and a shooting gallery mode). There's also another play-mode, which is just target shooting. I scored 35, which is a silver: I didn't try for gold.
