About
Lead the CIA or KGB in a high-stakes game of espionage and world domination. Us And Them – Cold War puts you in charge of a superpower at the height of the Cold War, where victory isn’t won by armies, but by spies, sabotage, and subterfuge. Influence nations, topple governments, and outwit your opponent to ensure your ideology prevails – all without firing a single shot.
Rewrite History Through Espionage: Spread your superpower’s influence across the globe using covert operations. Destabilize enemy countries socially, economically, and politically to flip them to your side. Orchestrate coups, assassinations, bribery, propaganda – whatever it takes to undermine the opposition without open war.
Deep Turn-Based Strategy: Manage vital resources like money, oil, and technology to fuel your agenda. Deploy spies, assassins, and experts in economics or tech, then position your agents worldwide and build secret networks. Every turn presents critical decisions as you engage in a global cat-and-mouse game of intrigue.
Real Historical Events & Figures: Experience the Cold War from 1960 onward, encountering random events based on real history that will test your leadership. Recruit famous figures of the era to aid your cause – from Che Guevara and Mao Zedong to Henry Kissinger, Fidel Castro, and even the Pope – each with unique abilities to shift the balance of power.
Spy Tech and Space Race: Develop spy gadgets straight out of a James Bond movie and research cutting-edge technology. Outsmart the enemy in the Space Race and use your nuclear arsenal as a looming threat to intimidate the opposing side. Just remember: a nuclear war means game over!
Unique Cold War Strategies: Unlock special tactics inspired by real Cold War doctrines. Use the “Domino Theory” to make one nation’s fall trigger others, or trap your foe in a “Communist Sandwich” by surrounding them with hostile states. With each playthrough, new events and strategies make for a different experience.
Will you deploy cunning spies and clever diplomacy to win the Cold War, or will freedom and equality fall victim to the enemy’s master plan? In Us And Them – Cold War, the fate of the world is in your hands. Prepare your network, plan your moves, and rewrite the history of the 20th century!

"Us And Them - Cold War" is a turn-based strategy game set during the Cold War, allowing players to assume the roles of either the CIA or the KGB. While the game focuses on territorial expansion, it does not involve direct military confrontations. Instead, players deploy a range of operatives, including spies, assassins, and specialists in various fields such as economics and technology, to destabilize their adversaries' nations socially, economically, and politically. The ultimate goal is to alter the ideologies of these governments and align them with their own political bloc. This game exemplifies the unique offerings that can emerge from smaller development teams and budget-conscious projects. It provides a simulation of the Cold War era, showcasing the extreme manifestations of both Communism and Capitalism. Beneath a facade of democracy and mutual respect, both factions engage in subterfuge, undermining each other's economies to erode support for the ruling parties, garnering political backing, and ultimately inciting revolts. There is little distinction between the two sides in their tactics. I have a profound appreciation for Cold War-themed games, viewing this era as one of the most captivating in human history, and I enjoy exploring it through alternate historical scenarios.

Ah, yes.. I love playing a game that literally requires a MANUAL to know how to play the game... Game also runs at 1024x768, and you cannot change it. 1/10
Sehr unterhaltsam, leider nicht sinderlich umfangreich. Es gibt nur 2 kampagnen. Ein Soiel dauert nur bis zu 2 Stunden.
horrible UI & graphics , game not stable.
