Built almost single-handedly by one Canadian teenager, and it shows in the best and worst ways: the whole thing runs on the visual fidelity of a school project, and the gunplay has all the weight of a pool noodle. And yet — loot, shoot, survive, build a base with friends — the core loop works, it's free, and it runs on a potato. The community mod scene has genuinely kept this alive years past when it should've faded; without it, there isn't much reason to keep going once you've looted your third identical town. There's also no real end goal, so go in treating it like a sandbox, not a game with a finish line. Recommended if you want a Minecraft-shaped zombie game to mess around in with friends and zero expectations about how it looks.
