I know this is early access and my opinion might change but right now this game sucks and should only be bought to support the development of the game. It is is not fun and is rather expensive. Hopefully it stops sucking
Waste of time and money. Lacks basic mechanics, runs horribly with Devs claiming anything shy of a $7,000 PC is low end, talking about optimization when the game is as raw as it gets. Claiming early access but the bare minimum for early access is playable and with the lack of substance, basic mechanics, crashing, and nauseating motion blur this aint playable
Its getting better than when it was released. Still needs a lot. Can't group though its an option. Graphics are good and bad. Character models are getting a lot better with regard to movement and animations to movement. Game still does not look like the trailer. The trailer makes my game look like i ordered it off of wish.
what an absolute let down of a game. all the hype all the promoting for this garbage. the pictures and videos you see are NOT what is in the game. you devs should hang your heads in shame and go back to working at tescos
I suggest this game! But not in its current state more as a buy to support the devs, as it has potential but currently its a mess. I have followed the game for around 2 years now if I'm remembering correctly. There are a lot of issues such performance is just really poor in its current state. That doesn't mean it cant get better I'm really hoping that Blip or Panda see this and are working on it, as a fellow developer myself (Studio owner more of) I understand developing a game is hard and when you want to make a game you want it to how you want it. I really feel this game has potential just currently its a under cooked pizza it needs to be in the oven a lot longer. What I'd suggest to work on if the devs read this work on: Performance Refine the survival mechanics and gameplay loop. Skin creator would be nice to have Sound design (one of the most important aspects of a game is sound design and I hate to say it but its not that good the american alligator has a 1, 2, 3, and 4 call that all sound the same and the animations dont match the sounds very well) Character animation dysync textures (I noticed that the textures on my gator were broken showing flesh on top) player spawn areas (I didnt spawn in a river nor did I know where I was) Player base is really lacking which sucks Then focus on adding your ui and overhaul it brainstorm till you come up with something user-friendly like even a grandma could understand without it looking like a childs painting. Now I know it seems I'm just complaining but I'm not I genuinely want this game to be successful and strive at what its goal is. I hope this finds the devs and I hope they take notes and no offense to anything I said I know its hard. If any of you are curious the studio I own is Veilbreaker Studios you can look it up not gonna take up more space lol. Edit: I will say I haven't explored every aspect of this game or followed it fully recently due to work and life but I do hope my insight even if short is still helpful.
Its pretty good so far, obviously it needs work but I like it! I want the chimp btw that would be cool.
Falta por mejorar muchas cosas
so i play Beasts of Bermuda and used to play the isle, i decided to look around and impulse bought this simulator. It looked good and the gameplay in the videos looked good as well. i should've looked at the reviews first. cuz lemme tell you, it needs a lot of work. i can tell they've been working hard from earlier reviews to my experience with it today. The movement has decent animation, but when you let of the controls the animal acts like its stopping on ice and slows down unnaturally slow. crouching doesn't seem to have an animation. and as i was testing the buttons animation glitches happened almost every key stroke. the attack animations didn't seem to bad. but there were limitations as far as navigation. I'm wandering blind with no sense of smell. and i was playing a wolf. I'm sorry but i STOPPED playing the isle because the sense of smell was non existent and evrima always crashed. i may switch back to evrima soon, as I'm looking for more things to play as. but to the devs, i love what you doing, keep it up. I cant wait to see how this turns out. Ill be keeping my eye on this game for sure.
Do i recommend the game at the current state? No, but the game has A LOT of potential. Many details like the snow covering the animals fur, leaving tracks in the snow, the weather, etc. The map, tiger animation, and overall survival system can most definitely improve. The developer has responded and is aware of the current state and listen to the community feedback which is a huge plus as most animal survival games don't really do that. I am looking forward to update 2 along with the future updates the game has to offer!
