Do you like unicorns and horses and want to indulge your inner child? Do you want to play a game that is fun but doesn't take itself too seriously? Do you want to play a game made by a small dev team who clearly had a ton of fun making their game? Then this game is for you.

Wow. What a great game. At first I didn't know how much I'd like it, and then I found that I could summon rocks. After a few more hours of adventure, playing hide and seek with a rhino, and SAVING THE ENTIRE UNICORN KINGDOM I would say this was one of the best games I've ever played!!!!

I got this game while it was on sale. If you have young kids, I think full price would be fair for their entertainment. But since I am an adult, the game was rather short to complete. I still really enjoyed my time with it, though. You can customize your unicorn character but the options are limited to just colors for your unicorn's horn, body, and mane/tail. Where the game really shines is in the silly spells you can do like summoning cheese or making your unicorn humongous. The characters you meet are also interesting and I found the voice acting to be pretty good, especially for a game of this size. The map was also surprisingly big with lore sprinkled around in the form of books, which are also narrated with voice over, which I think is good for young kids who maybe can't read that much. There are butterflies and horseshoes for you to collect and even some mazes to explore. There is a little bit of 'combat' in the game, but it wasn't very stressful. I found the game to be relaxing and nostalgic and it struck a good balance of having a serious story while also being funny. I'd definitely recommend it for kids, but I think adults would enjoy it, too. I will say, it looks like they used to do holiday events in-game but I'm not sure that they do anymore.

The voice acting kinda broke for a bit, but I didn't even notice until it came back after I restarted the game; not a terrible bug, & I don't even know what caused it, because the voice acting was fine the entire rest of the time. I love the voice acting, & the music all felt very apt. Great way to spend the afternoon, playing a game running around & exploring a island. Also, the quests being able to be completed preemptively before accepting them was nice, it had counted as completed a short moment after accepting.
