I was given the game for free to try it on stream, and both me and my community loved it! From creepy ambient sounds and screams, to dark forests that you need to find your way through, monsters that chase you and a little bit of puzzle here and there, UNGATE gave me the ultimate experience of please please please be the right way, and please please please give me more batteries. All jokes aside, the game is good, challenging and slightly difficult when it comes to spacial awareness. If you have none like me, I wish you the best of luck. The only downside, for me, is the lack of story explanations. You somehow never find out how you ended up fighting demons and eventual Satan. Overall I would give it a solid 8.5/10 and would highly recommend it to horror games enthusiasts that are looking for a challenge!

It's clear that some work has gone into this game. I'd like for some voice over work to be added for the cutscenes etc. After explorin' the intitial cabin i wasn't sure what to do. This game offers a challenging experience, and to be honest, I have never encountered a game that challenges you so directly. For me, it was a fun experience because I shared it with my friends at home, but no one could reach the last level. The game is perfect for gathering your friends for something fun, especially when everyone was just running in circles! LMAO

This game is awesome and the developer did an awesome job at it... all I have to say is thank god for toggle crouch. crouching is 100% necessary at some points to survive. The games story and layout is very well thought out and it's definitely not a game for the weak of heart...super super intense. My teammate and I both tried to see whom could get further with just 2 lives used each. I have to say sadly neither of us could beat the game like that, but maybe one day. Thank you very much dev for creating such a unique title and we are definitely looking forward to whatever games you make in the future. In my opinion Ungate must be played, I have never seen such a challenging game ever, the storyline is good 9/10. I recommend this game to those who are in love with an Horror game, you must try it.
