Great Music. Good Game. Was buggy at launch, is not buggy anymore. I'm not the biggest rhythm game person usually, but this one rips.
UNBEATABLE is a game about the holes left behind when people leave our lives. That's all I can really tell you about its story without giving away too much. Its story is one of the most beautiful I've ever played, and I strongly believe more people should experience it for themselves. The rhythm gameplay is extraordinary, and I constantly find myself coming back to arcade mode to play more. The game offers a wide range of difficulties, meaning anybody can play this game and enjoy it, regardless of if it's their first rhythm game or their 100th. My one minor complaint is that the story mode gameplay can be imperfect at times. Pacing can feel off and I often found myself struggling to figure out where I needed to go next, and bugs would occur often, sometimes forcing me to restart the game, which would occasionally cause me to have to sit through long cutscenes multiple times. Despite its flaws, UNBEATABLE is a game i strongly recommend to everyone. Its rhythm gameplay is wonderful, and its story is heart-wrenchingly beautiful. This game will always hold a special place in my heart.
Maybe the game thats made me feel the most of any game ever. something that heart and soul sings to me as a creator, an artist, a PERSON. I write this now just after finishing a story I wish I could experience again from the begining, I hope I will never forget this in a way that makes me wish I had made this. but I'm glad I didnt, because them I woudnt have gotten to experience it like this. I'm glad I live through this timeline despite everything. I'm glad I'm alive.
despite following UNBEATABLE's development on-and-off since the demo release, i (ironically) was hesitant to play because i wasn't as good as i thought i should be. i finally got around to it this week and Oh My God. I Get It. as everyone else has said, i did have a couple issues with softlocks and bugs, specifically with later episodes, and some collectibles such as the lighthouse picture were unavailable due to the scene skipping. but despite that, this game's artwork, music, and overall soul resonated with my struggles so deeply that i ended up crying at the final sequence and missing half of the notes (oops). i know literally everyone says that but if everyone says that then it definitely speaks to the quality and dedication of those who worked on it, even if occasionally the game is held together by double sided tape and a kiss on the forehead. it makes me sad that i playing this off for so long but it does feel like poetic justice in a way, i don't think the game would've punched as hard if i didn't. shame i can't get a quaver plush but the artistic integrity is way more important (slight cope there but we move) unbeatable my beloved. except for the ddr minigame. i hate that stupid minigame
сюжетка с живыми диалогами и эмоциями геймплей - 2 кнопки, но на последних сложностях и песнях со сбитым ритмом дает просраться лучшая атмосфера из всех ритм-игр
Oooooooooooohhhhh this game was well worth the wait. This game is a genuinely a gem that should have been talked about more. I could not overstate how incredible this game is, the art, the music, the story, oh my god I haven't cried like that in a long ass time. Is this game flawless? No, but nothing is, but this game was well worth the years I waited for it. If you enjoy rhythm games it is a CRIME that you haven't grabbed this game yet. It has simple controls, and while there are some buggy things (Mostly the Cop notes in the Story Mode not showing up if the song starts with them) its is still one of the best games I have played in a while. genuinely cracked the top 5
great concept with even better music. the story is good, but a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slog just to be honest. its genuinely about 4x the length it needed to be, which is so bittersweet because it IS good. feels like reviewing FF16 all over again. sometimes less is more devs...
honestly a life changing game. an absolute must play
After playing white label, I went into this expecting a fun rhythm game with a fun goofy story about rebelling against the powers that be. What I got was a fun rhythm game with a weird bug in the last act that makes the game really blurry and my keyboard wet. Thank you D-Cell. I'm not going to forget this game for a very long time.
this game had me crying, actually, and its the only one to ever do that. thanks to whoever made this game, the last 2 hours are probably some of the best i've experienced in a while. i dont even have words to describe it, and I know damn well im never gonna be satisfied writing a review for it
