Literally wtf is going on with the story of the game. The rhythm game mechanics are probably the best part of the game
It's rare I bump into a game that feels so artistically lived in. Genuinely, from the environments to the UI to the whiplash inducing rhythm sequences, this whole game feels like a breathing art piece. Should also note, the story + characters + dialogue were far better than I had anticipated and I know they will stick with me for a while. I actually teared up a bit, which is rare. The main gameplay segments are pretty adequately paced and balanced, some actually quite inventive imo. I do have to say, however, that is it difficult to hit the rhythm notes with watery eyes.
love this game so much, if your looking for an emotional story that will stick with you I would 100% recommend this game, but if your here for the rhythm aspects I'd say its also good and fun even if there's only 2 inputs it still feels fun and challenging. so no matter if your here for the story or gameplay or if you saw a pink haired girl holding a guitar you will enjoy this game
In parole povere: CONSIGLIATISSIMO!
WOW this game if ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gooddddddd. I was completely roped into it when I tried white label on a whim, and now that the full game is out Im so so glad I did. By far one of the best things in this game is just the music and voice acting. All the audio, actually, is completely and utterly Phenomenal. Characters are incredibly naturalistic while also having a slightly campy, over-acted charm to them that doesnt distract from the intended emotion of what theyre saying or the content of the dialogue itself. And the music is well mixed and inventive, generally staying in a progressive rock or punk space and occaisionally branching out into more industrial or pop rock for certain segments and situations (if Im slandering your favourite genre with this comparison then sue me). This is a game I would reccomend literally *anyone* play, its fun and creative and full of passion and soul, its about art and people and why we do anything at all with our lives, how to lose yourself in tragedy and find yourself afterwards. Its a game about a bunch of girls (and a boy or two) playing some songs, what more could you want?
Fun, dynamic, and stylish, but slightly unpolished Narrative overall was great. I enjoyed all the different interactions you can have with the characters and the chemistry between them. But I did think the overarching story took a bit of a while to pick up. Story mode on the other hand, I think was just ok. There were a few frustrating moments I remember that I thought just didn't really fit in with the game, or wasn't quite necessary to be there. Arcade mode is where the real bulk of the fun is if you enjoy rhythm games. You can easily spend all your time here if you wanted. Variety of music, including music from the game itself and additional songs from different artists, multiple levels of difficulty with modifiers if you want, and gameplay just feels snappy and visually pleasing to look at. Overall, would recommend if you enjoy rhythm games. P.s. I also just love the way clef plays the drums in the background
