very fun. i liked da story :D
Explaining an idea fundamentally changes the idea, and the idea changes you in turn Haven't had a game punch me in the gut so strongly in a while. Ending made me cry. Game has some glitches which frustratingly prevent me from giving this a perfect score. Ironically that messiness feels like part of what the game is trying to say. Perfect always takes so long because it don't exist. Please play UNBEATABLE.
The game's music, characters, story, and artistic style are all wonderful, even if the game is a little rough around the edges in a few spots (but hey, it's an indie game after all! It's not like AAA games are bug-free either). If you like rhythm games, I'd highly recommend this to you!
I love this game with every atom of my body
This game is the reason I finally got my life together. Genuinely the most I've cried at any piece of media. Ever. Thank you D Cell!!!! <3
what a lovingly made game if youre looking for a baller story, well written dialogue, and music that sticks with you long after your playthrough, play this game
Im glad this was my first rythm game, I love the art style, the dialogue, the characters, and the gameplay just makes me come back again and again!

Yes, the story is confusing at times. Yes, it tries to talk about many things and maybe gets lost in the different themes it wants to explore. Yes, it's a bit buggy, especially the movement in the story mode. Some rhythm sequences in the story mode were also a bit confusing to me, unlike the gameplay of the arcade mode. Yes, sometimes the 2D animation in the cutscenes was a little rough, and I wish they could have spent more time on it. Yes, the 2D sprites didn't always fit well, sometimes having weird angles during dialogues for example. Despite all that, I LOVED IT, even the story mode. It's a bittersweet and chaotic story, there's a lot to feel and to think about, (some of) the characters are relatable, the music is fantastic and the visual style is unique. And playing the arcade mode has been a total blast (I've just reached an 8 star rating). As a sidenote, sometimes I was scared that the game would take a more liberal path, but I'm glad that it never conciliates with cops and is never ambiguous about the nature of the bourgeois police state, and not in a superficial or caricatural way.
there has never been a rhythm game i have loved so much
