I'm happy I waited the 5+ years since accidentially finding White Label when it came out, enduring similar journeys of Beat's to make even a lick of time to play this game. lowkey play it blind.
And her music was electric...

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its amazing
no joke this is my fav game now 10/10
get it twisted
I am glad that this game exists I am glad that I got to experience it My feelings towards other parts are...complicated The best way that I can describe UNBEATABLE is..."scrappy". You can feel that there's so much passion and love put into it, and it comes out raw and genuine in a way that you really don't get to see often. It's being shown something that has some rough edges but neither of you care because you're just overjoyed that you got to see an idea like this move from thought to reality in the first place. But........ Those rough edges sometimes need to be sanded down. It's hard to tell sometimes if the UI/dialogue system is just clunky or if it's clunky in a way that's trying to express how awkward the conversation is. This is also technically a rhythm game, but I think about <30% of my playtime was actually rhythm bits (although I love the baseball parts, I wish I could replay those easier). The amount of love, care, and passion put into this deserves the $30 price tag. But you, the person reading this review, might not get $30 worth of entertainment from this game. unbeatable is messy the way that life is messy, and if you need a little bit less of that, that's ok.
second story mode playthrough made me realize i haven't done this game justice and given it a positive review. forgot my schedule the other day and was late for work because i was grinding FCs for one very full combo instead of actually being there. needless to say, i got the intended UNBEATABLE experience
Nothing ever 25 of doom and dispair
This is easily the best rhythm game I've ever played. This may be one of the best games I have ever played. The gameplay is incredibly unique, the music frickin slaps, the characters/voice acting is full of a range of emotion, the writing made me laugh out loud and sob until my heart hurt, I could go on. Thank you for making this game, D-cell team. I think its gonna have a special place in my heart for a very long time <3
