Dreadful monsters were stirring in the cave where Udonge had fallen into. Low-class monsters starving for females creep up, one after another. Can she escape the violence of sexual desire, or will she be trapped and have everything destroyed by sheer pleasure and humiliation?

The main factor I'm giving it a thumbs down is that fact that it cost money. Got it around $6 dollars on sale but its almost $10 dollars for 3 levels and seems more of a demo that a game. I feel like you could beat the game in 10-15 minutes or less. I think Steam got me about 20 minutes but that's mainly because the last level had a gimmick and looking at the gallery. Graphic is nice, combat probably could have a melee button instead of it just pushing down while you attack...it just it ended too quickly for the price. If it was free, thumbs up for sure...if you want someone to pay...$5 or less is doable for me. Maybe I'm being too harsh, and I'm sorry if it does cause i did enjoy it...but its not long at all and just wanted a little more
The game is SUPER short, and extremely easy. I bought this game purely because I like the artist. The scenes in this game are top notch, I hope they make more in the future.
10 minutes of gameplay for this price....
I guess bro

Game has bug where if you start the game with a controller connected at any point then the arrow keys and WASD keys will completely stop working and there is no way to change it. If you hold down the right or left arrows as you select game start then you regain some control, but the up and down arrows do not work in the menu. Therefore, you cannot go to the options to change the keybind. I have a flight stick and none of the controls are even mapped to it. Considering there are steam discussions about this issue since the game released, the developer doesn't seem like they're going to fix this issue any time soon.
short but mysteriously goated game
Rico ദ്ദി ᗜˬᗜ✧ pero muy caro para ser tan corto, no me quejo, al contrario ᗜ ̫ ᗜ
100% Completion Review: Connection terminated. I'm sorry to interrupt you, Elizabeth. If you still even remember that name. But I'm afraid you've been misinformed. You are not here to receive a gift. Nor, have you been called here by the individual you assume. Although, you have indeed been called. You have all been called here. Into a labyrinth of sounds and smells, misdirection and misfortune. A labyrinth with no exit, a maze with no prize. You don't even realize that you are trapped. Your lust of blood has driven you in endless circles. Chasing the cries of children in some unseen chamber. Always seeming so near, yet somehow out of reach. But, you will never find them, none of you will. This is where your story ends. And to you, my brave volunteer. Who somehow found this job listing not intended for you. Although, there was a way out planned for you, I have a feeling that's not what you want. I have a feeling that you are right where you want to be. I am remaining as well. I am nearby. This place will not be remembered. And the memory of everything that started this. Can finally begin to fade away. As the agony of every tragedy should. And to you monsters trapped in the corridors. Be still, and give up your spirits. They don't belong to you. For most of you, I believe there is peace and perhaps, more. Waiting for you after the smoke clears. Although, for one of you. The darkest pit of Hell has opened to swallow you whole. So, don't keep the Devil waiting, old friend. My daughter, if you can hear me. I knew you would return as well. It's in your nature to protect the innocent. I'm sorry that on that day. The day you were shut out and left to die. No one was there to lift you up in their arms. The way you lifted others into yours. And then, what became of you? I should have known, you wouldn't be content to disappear. Not my daughter. I couldn't save you then, so let me save you now. It's time to rest, for you, and for those you have carried in your arms. This ends. For all of us. End communication. (*Beep*)
Udonge in Interspecies Cave is a short indie action platformer developed by UminoKyuri and published by NupuryuSoft. The game blends retro-inspired side-scrolling gameplay with anime-style presentation and mature themes, creating a niche experience that mixes arcade combat with visual novel-like character appeal. While the title draws inspiration from the Touhou fan community—particularly through its rabbit-eared heroine Udonge—the gameplay itself is designed as a compact action adventure focused on navigating dangerous environments, fighting monsters, and surviving increasingly intense encounters inside a hostile underground cave. The premise of the game is intentionally simple and serves mainly as a framework for the action. The protagonist, Udonge, finds herself trapped within a mysterious cavern system inhabited by various monsters and creatures. With limited resources and no clear escape route, she must venture deeper into the cave while defending herself from hostile enemies. The setting is presented with minimal narrative exposition, allowing players to jump quickly into gameplay. Rather than focusing on dialogue or complex storytelling, the game emphasizes survival and combat as the primary drivers of the experience. The cave itself becomes the central stage where the action unfolds, presenting a hostile environment that constantly challenges the player. Gameplay follows a classic side-scrolling structure that recalls older arcade platformers. Players control Udonge as she moves through a series of levels filled with enemies and hazards. The control scheme is straightforward, typically involving movement, jumping, and shooting attacks to fend off enemies. This simplicity makes the game easy to understand almost immediately, allowing players to focus on reflexes and positioning rather than learning complicated mechanics. Combat encounters occur frequently as monsters approach from multiple directions, forcing players to stay alert and maintain mobility while attacking. As players progress deeper into the cave, enemy encounters become more intense. Different types of monsters appear with varied movement patterns and attack behaviors, requiring players to adapt their approach during each encounter. Although the combat system remains mechanically simple, the increasing density of enemies can create tense moments where survival depends on quick reactions and careful positioning. In addition to standard enemies, the game introduces boss battles that serve as major milestones within the progression. These bosses often require players to observe attack patterns and react accordingly, adding brief but memorable challenges to the otherwise straightforward gameplay loop. The level design follows a compact structure, guiding players through a sequence of stages within the cave. Each area presents a slightly different arrangement of platforms, enemies, and obstacles, encouraging players to stay attentive as they move forward. While the environments remain visually similar due to the cave setting, the variety of enemy encounters helps maintain a sense of progression. The stages themselves are relatively short, which contributes to the game’s brisk pacing and keeps the action moving without lengthy interruptions. Visually, the game adopts a retro pixel-art style reminiscent of classic 16-bit era platformers. Character sprites are simple but expressive enough to communicate movement and combat clearly during fast-paced sequences. Udonge’s design, featuring rabbit ears and anime-inspired features, reflects the game’s roots in fan culture while giving the protagonist a distinctive appearance. The cave environments are rendered with dark tones and minimalistic backgrounds, emphasizing the feeling of exploring an underground labyrinth filled with lurking dangers. Although the visual presentation is not particularly elaborate, the pixel-art aesthetic gives the game a nostalgic charm and ensures that enemies and hazards remain clearly visible during combat. The sound design complements the gameplay with energetic background music that keeps the action feeling lively. The soundtrack features fast-paced electronic tracks that match the intensity of the combat sequences, helping sustain momentum as players move through the levels. Sound effects for attacks, enemy defeats, and environmental interactions provide immediate feedback during gameplay. While the audio variety is somewhat limited, it effectively reinforces the arcade-like atmosphere of the experience. One of the most noticeable aspects of Udonge in Interspecies Cave is its short overall length. A complete playthrough can often be finished within a relatively brief amount of time, especially for experienced players who quickly adapt to the combat mechanics. Because of this, the game feels more like a compact arcade challenge than a lengthy platforming adventure. For some players, this brevity works well as a quick and focused experience that can be replayed multiple times. Others may feel that the limited number of stages and mechanics prevents the game from fully exploring its potential. Despite its short runtime, the game has been received positively by many players, particularly those who enjoy small indie projects or Touhou-inspired characters. Players often appreciate the responsive controls and straightforward gameplay, which make it easy to jump into the action without complex tutorials or lengthy introductions. The retro-inspired visuals and simple combat mechanics also appeal to fans of classic arcade platformers who enjoy fast, reflex-driven gameplay. However, the simplicity that makes the game accessible can also become a limitation. Because the mechanics remain largely unchanged throughout the experience, the gameplay loop may begin to feel repetitive during extended sessions. The lack of additional modes, upgrades, or deeper progression systems means that players primarily rely on the satisfaction of completing the stages rather than exploring new gameplay features. Even with these limitations, Udonge in Interspecies Cave manages to deliver a focused and entertaining indie experience. Its fast-paced combat, retro-inspired visuals, and straightforward controls create a game that is easy to pick up and enjoyable in short bursts. The compact design keeps the action moving quickly, making it suitable for players who prefer quick sessions rather than long campaigns. Overall, Udonge in Interspecies Cave stands as a small but energetic indie platformer that combines simple arcade mechanics with anime-inspired presentation. While its limited content and short runtime prevent it from becoming a deeply expansive game, it still offers a fun and challenging experience for players interested in quick action titles. Fans of retro-style platformers and Touhou-inspired characters will likely appreciate its charm, even if the adventure itself is over relatively quickly. Rating: 7/10
