First sub sim I played was GATO on Apple IIe. Thinking about from there to here, and everything in between, puts a smile on my face. This is a wonderful game. With the current time on record as of this review I'm at around a quarter percent campaign completion. Feels like I've done a lot of stuff, sank a lot of ships, completed a lot of missions, to only be at 25%. I can't wait to see what's left, and how long it takes me. The sim experience itself is amazing, seems polished at this point. Crew management, ship customization, ship upgrades, combat, is all very well done. At any given moment your crew will be doing exactly what you told them to be doing, or didn't tell them. Your ship has plenty of upgrade options for performance and looks. Combat is engaging and survivable. There are lots of other things besides combat that you can do. I have had zero reliability or performance issues. No crashes, nothing. Not native on my pc, not streaming with either Steam or the combo of Apollo/Moonlight.
