About
This is Tyr, a tank shooter where positioning, strategic decision-making, and mastery of unique abilities win.
Tyr features a roster of specialized armored vehicles and pilots. You’ll take control of treaded and hover tanks alike as you angle & position for defense, and rumble and glide across the battlefield.
Each vehicle also offers its own tech tree and ammo & component slots, affording you the ability to upgrade and evolve your ride to suit your playstyle. You may even be able to change up your vehicle’s unique keystone tech to dynamically alter your personal meta.
Each vehicle features a unique power that impacts Tyr’s moment-to-moment play on the battlefield. A tank may have the ability to blink several vehicle lengths forward or back, send out a sonar pulse to spot enemies, or overcharge its engine to ram directly into an opponent and deal massive damage.
In Tyr, you and your opponents will only be visible when within range or while making enough noise. Deciding when to push forward and when to fire from cover could mean the difference between staying hidden and revealing your position to the entire enemy team, so play carefully.
Tyr will test your mental mettle, patience, and teamwork, as deliberate play beats whoever can fire the fastest.

just a good game, I cant complain :)
Best multiplayer tank game. Goodbye Warthunder, you will not be missed.
I never played tank shooters, but saw an ad for this on youtube and liked the colors. Plus you there's a tank here that turns into a fighter jet. How cool is that. This game is easy to pick up, and hard to master. I would definitely recommend checking this game out.

Very good game, people claiming that bushcamping is op have smoll pp 😎
Cool game, I am routinely owned which gives me flashes of impotent rage but then I click join game once more. Currently bereft of predatory ♥♥♥♥ war thunder devs are famous for.
It is baffling that this game is free. Even more baffling that it has zero ways to pay for anything other than cosmetics. Not even pay-to-progress. It takes actual talent to distill what makes previous tank games so fun this well, then sprinkle new ideas on top and wrap it up in the eye-candy of a visual style. The game isn't technically flawless, there are technical issues, matchmaking issues and a few balancing issues, but the matches only last 10 minutes and there are currently no penalties for abandoning them, so you are just out before these issues begin to piss you off. All in all a master-class in game design.
easy to pick up, hard to master. very fun
genuinely some of the most fun I've had in a vehicle based pvp game in almost a decade. honestly in any pvp game in a decade really. hits all the right itches. matches are anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 depending on how aggressive/ stupid you wanna play. even on a 5 loss streak i was still hopping into the next one laughing about some stupid shenanigans last match. Free to play, low stakes, fast games, at 3 gigs. ignore this game if you hate fun.
Don't bring a knife to a knife fight, bring a gun. Don't bring a gun to a gun fight, bring a tank. Don't go to tank fights (unless you're not afraid to have fun).
