About
This is Tyr, a tank shooter where positioning, strategic decision-making, and mastery of unique abilities win.
Tyr features a roster of specialized armored vehicles and pilots. You’ll take control of treaded and hover tanks alike as you angle & position for defense, and rumble and glide across the battlefield.
Each vehicle also offers its own tech tree and ammo & component slots, affording you the ability to upgrade and evolve your ride to suit your playstyle. You may even be able to change up your vehicle’s unique keystone tech to dynamically alter your personal meta.
Each vehicle features a unique power that impacts Tyr’s moment-to-moment play on the battlefield. A tank may have the ability to blink several vehicle lengths forward or back, send out a sonar pulse to spot enemies, or overcharge its engine to ram directly into an opponent and deal massive damage.
In Tyr, you and your opponents will only be visible when within range or while making enough noise. Deciding when to push forward and when to fire from cover could mean the difference between staying hidden and revealing your position to the entire enemy team, so play carefully.
Tyr will test your mental mettle, patience, and teamwork, as deliberate play beats whoever can fire the fastest.

I suspect that World of Tanks and WarThunder publishers are holding emergency executive Board meetings this week. If you have ever played a tank game and even slightly liked the genre, get this. It beats all of them hands down and it's free - no P2W either. Now - there are some current negatives: You will need to join the game's Discord to access their "alpha program". This to my mind is fair - they want your feedback on their new tanks. You will also need to do the same if you want to join / create a clan. This is slightly more abrasive, as I discovered yesterday. I clicked in game to join a clan, nothing came up. A few hours later I clicked again, and 2 options came up! I clicked on the first and was instantly auto-joined into a clan Discord. I went to their voice channels, introduced myself (very friendly bunch) only to discover they were NA server - I am EU server. Wished them the best and left. Selected the other option, joined a clan that had no Discord and I was clan leader of - left. Making a clan is no small cost - in-game currency is 500k which might accrue at 5k a battle. So; it does have issues. The more paranoid of you may even not like the Discord bit - fine, just don't join a clan or their alpha stuff. These issues however are minor, and easily sorted out in-game by clans having to select a server region - a 10 minute fix. If I could give this game a double thumbs up, I would. If I could give it a golden buzzer, I would. Sadly, all I can do is leave this review. Download it and have fun! EDIT: And if you do fancy supporting the Devs like I chose to do, then very un-obviously you can click on the gold icon in the top right and pay £11 for an overly generous skins/bling/title set of your choice. Nothing to not like here.

Fun, free, and it's less than 4 gb. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose!
it feels like a promising game but it needs some small works in areas, the maps feel, very open at times, with only one or two actually giving you enough cover, a lot of matches feel like if you move from a bush or exit your spawn you die, and as a medic main, it's very sad watching the 80th team mate in a row get atomized because they dared to leave the bush they were hiding in to push the enemy base or go for a player, the game has a lot of hope but it needs some reworks,
I am very excited for where this is going, actually feels like a proper use of early access. No p2w, which I think is very important for a f2p.
Very entertaining, Very quick. Beautiful game with cunning gameplay. Easy pickup, nice challenge to master. An Easy recommend.
Fun game, quick and easy to get into. new player friendly.
v v good!
Fun game, really been enjoying it. Game dev isn't easy. Pain points in order from my perspective. Squad size, even bumping to 4 until the player base increases a bit more would be welcomed. Discord integration requirement for clan feels invasive. Lesser items. Additional modes. Coms options feel a bit limited. Looking forward to what future updates hold. Great game.
Thought it would be too slow pace for my liking... but I love that the matches are fast, max 10 min. Long, and every decission can mean the different on a win or lose. Miss a shot and you need to wait for ahes to shot again, or go into a glass cannon, and risk being taken down by a well placed sniper shot before even making an impact. It got that "just one more match"-addiction.
tem potencial. vale a pena testar.
