About
This is Tyr, a tank shooter where positioning, strategic decision-making, and mastery of unique abilities win.
Tyr features a roster of specialized armored vehicles and pilots. You’ll take control of treaded and hover tanks alike as you angle & position for defense, and rumble and glide across the battlefield.
Each vehicle also offers its own tech tree and ammo & component slots, affording you the ability to upgrade and evolve your ride to suit your playstyle. You may even be able to change up your vehicle’s unique keystone tech to dynamically alter your personal meta.
Each vehicle features a unique power that impacts Tyr’s moment-to-moment play on the battlefield. A tank may have the ability to blink several vehicle lengths forward or back, send out a sonar pulse to spot enemies, or overcharge its engine to ram directly into an opponent and deal massive damage.
In Tyr, you and your opponents will only be visible when within range or while making enough noise. Deciding when to push forward and when to fire from cover could mean the difference between staying hidden and revealing your position to the entire enemy team, so play carefully.
Tyr will test your mental mettle, patience, and teamwork, as deliberate play beats whoever can fire the fastest.

Its like OG World or Tanks combat (prior to p2w) with an arcade twist. Every tank has an ability that can manipulate the battlescape. Which brings an interesting layer to what would normally be a straightforward engagement. Its fun, no one tank is unbalanced. The tech tree progression can change how a tank performs drastically however it still doesn't throw off the balance of the tank you can adapt it to how you want to play. Keystone is the last unlock in the tech tree. Keystone advantages are meh at best. -2 negative take aways lobby timer is strenuous. Its 8v8 and you can only see your teams tank pick and the current map, You don't need 35 seconds of lobby time + an additional 5 countdown timer. Seems people are unaware of the ready button in the lower right. Its an arcade style game let me have arcade action, -Added: There is no way I'm handing control over my discord acct. To join a clan (for faster progression). I have webwooks, engineering/social/educational networks, and bots working, ABSOLUTELY NOT

Great to keep coming back to.
sci-fi World of tanks without all the predatory Michael transactions and shorter less rage inducing games
Short game modes for quick play. Good amount of tank variance. Feels realistic, yet still has some gameplay that feels fun.
Dev team is super chill and the community is great, feels like valorent and warthunder with a little bit of skill tree mechanics to make your tank to make your tank more specd into what you want to do.
An excellent game and hopefully replacement for World of Tanks. No gold ammo or pay2win tanks here. Oh, and no artillery. The game has a light-hearted science fiction setting; no gritty historical immersion here.
The best currently available multiplayer tank game. This game is so fun, ive not binged a game as hard as i have this game in a long time. First day i played i played 10h. Its not good for my body, but god its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good for my brain.
Tyr is World of Tank but better in every good way: -No grind (about 1h-2 to max lvl a tank, no tank tier system) -No pay to win at all (only cosmetics) -No information hidden on wikis and obscure military documents. Everything is displayed ingame with perfect clarity -Faster matches, quick matchmaking, your tank is not locked if you are killed but the match is not over And most of all: -It's just plain fun. All tanks are really different and really fun to use. It's rule of cool in full effect here: "what if your tank could fly? Or blink? Or TP back to base? Or transform into a starcraft siege tank? Or heal others? Or become invisible? Or create a forcefield? Or build fortifications? Or land mines? Or create a ramp to play mario kart?..." It's only been out in early access for a couple of weeks, but it is already full of content, super polished, I haven't seen any bugs, performance or network issues at all. Am I dreaming? I feel like I'm dreaming. Are we allowed this type of quality, fun and respect in this day and age? And FOR FREE?!
So fun and addicting. Tyr makes sure all your matches are fun regardless of what youre loadout is.
Really good game here. For early access there is surprisingly much content and few bugs aka none i have seen so far
