a free game with not only supporter dlc (2 on day 1) for some cosmetic crap but a supporter PASS. and there's a cart icon to buy stuff from inside the game, yet there's no mention of in-app purchases on the store page. ♥♥♥♥ off. and as always, there's more. no keyboard menu navigation in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ typing game, only esc works. typewriter effect for the tooltips in the menu to waste as much time as possible instead of providing basic info immediately. the game either runs in a window taking up all vertical space but only a fraction horizontally, or it's full screen, with nothing but blackness on both sides. not sure if it's a lazy mobile port but it sure works like one. the window can be fixed to the right, left or middle of the screen, or you can drag it wherever and resize it, so it's not all bad. further settings are a choice of fonts and sounds, input error sound toggle, separate volumes, typing test duration and a few languages. why they'd not include the windowed mode toggle under display settings, on top of an icon in the main menu, is a mystery. there are also stats and leaderboards (local, online), the latter can only be viewed after a run is finished. settings are only available from the main menu, so make sure to lower audio first, especially for the incredibly repetitive music. the game itself is as basic as it gets. there's a timed typing test with some public domain text (the ugly duckling, alice in wonderland, etc.) that can't be paused, nor continued later. I exited the first one dubbed easy, no confirmation after pressing esc, and clicking the test again kept giving me the medium one. kept restarting and eventually I got the easy one again but never hard, if it exists. why not let people choose difficulty and the text from whatever's available? practice is the other mode. 18 levels, the first is only single letters, the last all 18-letter words, so the range is 1-18, not 2-18, like the store page says. they want you to type 300 of each for completion, no thank you. no progress indicator while typing, and of course esc exits without confirmation or saving progress. and finally, you can type start in the main menu (no icon to click) to enter the main game mode, made up of random words (and numbers for power-ups to slow, freeze, etc.) to be typed before the ghosts carrying them leave the screen. fail to do that a few times and it's game over. combos don't seem to be a thing, so typos don't matter. an even bigger issue is only the topmost word can be typed, the rest might as well not exist until it's their turn. the score and power-up info are on the bottom, covering appearing words, another good decision. esc pauses here but no settings while playing and no progress is saved on exit, naturally. achievements only pop at the end of a run, spamming the screen. needless to say, the whole thing is completely worthless, basic without meeting basic requirements. the dictionary is tiny, I had repeat words constantly and almost immediately. there's also this under one of the dlc:
donate a single dollar (NOT EVEN A DOLLAR, IT'S LIKE .99c)
1, it's not 'like' 99 cents, it IS 99 cents, in usd anyway. 2, 0.99 usd is 0.85 in eur, not 1.09. ♥♥♥♥ off some more.

I like the aesthetic, but I wish there was more to this game. Some kind of progress bar on the practice area and maybe some unlockables in the main game? I'm not finding anything to keep me motivated. It's one level, one enemy, one song. There isn't really much to review here, but it feels like there is potential to keep building more into this game.
oddly addictive and challenges you to push your own limit. simple, very simple. i will play again.
What a great game! I enjoy playing it with my friends. Also quite nice for my siblings to learn new words and keyboard typing.

Very cute game. It reminds me of, and maybe I'm giving away my age, but it reminds me of keyboarding class in school. It's a simple, but cute game. Perfect for when I don't want to focus too terribly much on a game, it's a quick practice made fun and with adorable ghosties. wins all around for me.
The game concept is brilliant, addictive and fun! Could be nice having more languages, boss fights or more music variety.
It's a cute game. Wanted to try out a typing game since switching to a 75% keyboard from 100%. It works very well in game and takes some getting use to. Fun overall.
