Hello, and thank you for taking your time in reading my Review. I've never played this game before. This is my first time playing it as I know it's been out a lot longer. (From what others have told me.) I'll be giving you my personal Experience in this game, also the Pros and Cons as in why you should play, or don't play it. The PROS and CONS of each thing i've listed. That's if it has a CON. Don't take my word for the game in terms of driving you away. Just because I say I don't like something about it, does not mean you'll also agree with me. RATING SCORES - The way this works is, i'll be giving my rating score for each thing that i feel was noticeable, and impacted the game. Example: A score with 1 is the lowest rating. A score with 10 is the highest rating. Pros - Character Classes - SwordMaster, Mage, Gunslinger, Cleric, Paladin, Hunter, Rogue, Berserker, Occultist, Monk, DragonKnight. Character Classes(Information) - RATING 10/10. You have the ability to change between classes at any point you want, let's say you get tired or bored of a certain play style and you'd like to switch it up and choose another class to play with. Then go ahead! You can do it as many times as you want, (as long as you're not in combat) This is one of the main attractions for me from this game. So this was a giant plus to me. Character Classes(Talent Points) - RATING 10/10. Most games have a Talent tree, or Talent points to spend to increase your characters stats for damage, magic ect. We all also know, in order to reset talent points most games offer some type of 'Scroll' or an item to reset your skill points for a price (Usually real currency, or have to farm gold countless hours to buy it from another player.) Well in this game, that's not needed (Real Money) As you level up, If i'm not mistaken, if you're below level 40, you'll be able to reset as many times as you'd like for free. Now here is what hooked me. When you reach over 40, you can reset your Talent points as much as you want, with gold of course. But it's easy to farm (low numbers, so it should not be a problem for you.) Abilitiy Sharing - RATING 7/10 Some character classes can share abilities from each other. For example, a Mage can use some priest skills ect! I don't have much to say on this topic, as it's not a wide list of skills. But this is good in my opinion. Costumes(Cosmetic Outfits) RATINGS: Appearance - 6/10 Variety - 10/10 This game has lots of Costumes that you can choose from, (Even create from your trade skills.) I don't have much to say in a positive way for this, as i'll explain in the Cons for obvious reasons. MiniGames: RATING: 3/10 This game has about 3 mini games, from what i'm familiar with (Not PvP Wise, well it is but in a fun way.) The reason why i'm giving it such a low rating, is because some of the minigames are bugged, They've been mentioned on the forums as well and nothing has happened. From my understanding it's also happened on the Prod game as well, not just the steam version. DUNGEONS - RATING 10/10 This game has a LOT of dungeons you can do, ranging from all levels, They're pretty fun, and some are quite expansive. IT's all i've got to say on this topic for this area in Pros. Game Staff(?) - RATING 10/10 They're always willing to help you out, if you ask them. They're usually seen doing mini games as well, but usually quiet. They've answered people on Discord, and on their forums and on here. Overall, they're good i've not no complaints on them. Ingame Community - RATING 3/10 I'll explain as to why it's that low in the Cons. NEUTRAL: Cookie Cutter Mmo - I have no problem with games like that, as in very easy to do stuff, Auto tracking to your next quest, this is what this game is here. Its very good for someone who's new to MMO games. Combat - 7.5/10 Combat is VERY simple, pushing buttons as usual as most MMO's, The reason why i've given this a rating of 7.5, is because it Appeals to me in some ways. It's just basically rotating your skills constantly, I have noted that this could be your very first MMO to play to get the hang of it and bring you into these games. This game requires NO MANA, so you never run out of your 'MP' Which in my opinion, I loved it. I'd like to point out and thank SpaceButler for the reminder of adding Combat in here, I thought i've placed it, but it's something i've missed. CONS Costumes - Most costumes have bonuses if you wear them, that'll give you some stats. It's nothing major, but they're there. IF you've got a full costume (not matching, just random stuff) You'll be getting small bonuses as well. From HP, to ALL STATS, you name it. BUT, a good thing about this is you can get some of these for free if you're doing minigames, or doing dialies to rack up points to buy them from the shop. It'll take time though, so don't expect to get anything good asap. Playerbase/Dungeons/Community/ Ect - I'll divide this in multiple Catagories. Dungeons -It's visibly seen, there isn't that many players around in sight. Of course there was a lot when the game was released (As every other game) But with lack of players comes lack of Dungeons to do. Lots of great dungeons for players to gear up ranging from all levels as I stated, but the playerbase is not a benefit here. From time to time, you'll have trouble finding a team or even assembling one if you'd like to do dungeon runs. Also, if you're new to that dungeon, be expecting a kick if you constantly die without warning. As i'm a new player i've seen this happen to multiple players already, (It's also happened to me but this was expected) You'll be kicked without warning. IF you bother to message them reason as to why they kicked you be expected to be messaged either: A.) The actual reason why you where kicked (Which literally, this option does not exist in my experience so far.) B.) Will be asked to stop bothering the person. C.) Ignored. If you want to do some top tier dungeons, like i had mentioned before be fully geared at least +40 everything, orange wise. IF you don't have that then goodluck. or find a top tier guild that'll run you through it. That's how it goes! World Chat/ Trade Chat - Most of the time in world chat, you'll see conflict with players talking about who's better then who constantly, (This was expected, I know.) Also in trade chat. IF you want to do dungeons that are 60 + Be expected to be fully decked out with gear and + that baby up! If you can't don't bother Queuing up for them, you won't be invited or you'll be berated. So, with all my Experience I would say to stay away. What you should expect is everything that i've written down for you, take it with a grain of salt. (Perhaps you'll be in a different scenario, but similiar Consequences as i've went through. And it'll kill the mood to play the game. You will enjoy the game if you like these type up to level 60. After that, everything changes for you, in terms of high level dungeons, teams. But, as for my experience (70 Hours +) MY recommendation would be no.

This is my first ever review, Ive been playing mmogpgs for over 20 years, everything from Asherons Call to EverQuest to WoW and I had to say there is something about Twin Saga that makes me want to play. The quest are fun, I love the classes and the crafting, the fishing is the best. Dont take my word for it, its f2p, give it a shot, if nothing else its something to do for a few hours..
Anime was a mistake. Nah... Just Kidding. Such a atstonishing game. No wonder why Im still single and away from society everday.
They are ending the game by April 29, 2021.Its not worth your time when they are removing the game,so you cant play it anymore...
8.0/10 Liking it so far, some normal release bugs, not impressed or disappointed I knew what I was getting myself into. As a free game though it's definately worth a try if you enjoy anime or mmorpgs. Graphics: 8 (I run Fullscreen 1920x1080 with everything maxed, solid so far no issues. I wasn't impressed or disappointed.) Audio: 8 (Nothing unexpected or new, but nothing terrible and cringeworthy. Japanese with English subtitle translations have that awkward anime feel. I have a minor in Japanese so I enjoyed the audio more.) System: 8 (I haven't experienced any unexpected crashes as of yet. Latency issues only twice so far, very briefly, low pop. channels.) Quests: 6.5* (MMO style, cookie cutter archetypes with lower required kills in area map and are generally quick and close. Main quest chain is good so far. World map daily quests cap at 10 and have varied outcomes and cutscenes with no voice. The score killer here was a lack of an effective quest reset. Abandoning and reaquiring a quest did not resolve a main questline issue, very likely my fault for logging out at a bad time. Had to eventually re-install the game. That aside, completing certain quests for the first time gives you permanant stats bonuses.) Crafting: 9 (Multi-layered and robust you can craft various useful equipable objects and home decor. Materials are everywhere, and can afk farm at nodes. Not imputing commands for rarer finds doesn't break node channel. Various crafting levels in all professions give permanent stats boosts and other various useful bonuses.) Achievements: 9 (Semi-meaningful and gives useful permanant stat. unlocks. Titles from achievements also give small stat increases, finding a matching pre/suffix combo is interesting. Lots of titles to choose from.) Dungeons: 7.5* (A little short for my taste, several difficulties with dailies involved. Must complete solo first in main quest chain to unlock party functions. Everything as far as mechanics in the dungeon seem to be spot on as far as I can tell. Loot system is rewarding and click-looting is non-existant, everything goes straight to your bags.) *=subject to change as content is explored My favorite thing about this game so far is the fact that if you click anywhere on the map or mini-map, you automatically travel there. Convenient if you go afk for a snack or something. This includes clicking on the quest objective themselves to travel to where the objectives are located! Currently exploring and liking it, may update this review as I explore.
It's a decent game with a lot of options to have fun. The costumes are incredibly appealing. The class system is intriguing, as you can play any class you desire and switch at will during your whole journey. This makes it so that you can have a versatile player experience. However, some classes are clearly more optimal than others. Samurai seems to be the best class for soloing, which renders every other class useless unless playing with others. Also, leveling becomes difficult toward endgame (once you get to the 60's, although the level cap has been raised to somewhere around 100). At that point it becomes a game of dailies. Run your 10 daily dungeons, do your daily map quests, talk to specific NPCs, etc. I find that games which center around the "do your dailies" become boring rather quickly. And this is where I get to the bad part: there is a significant lack of a playerbase. In all the time I played it, I probably came across no more than 10 players total. All the aforementioned aspects of the game are essentially pointless unless you have someone to play this game with. I played with friend but he quit, and it became a solo journey to the top, but I quit before I even got all the way there. Hella dead game, would not recommend.
Well, my first 'not recommended' review of a game. Hmh. And it's on a game I still have to play. Interesting. I'd just like to point out that the game is good, it's just not a good MMORPG and one that I'd recommend you stay clear of if you're looking for something to pour thousands of hours into. I'll start with the good things, as to keep things semi-chronological...ish. First, are the classes. Every class is fun to play as, and not to mention that you have seperated stat trees you can invest in every class, which can sometimes change how the class plays alltogether, and frankly, doing the number crunching, stat investing, and sometimes even doing the awesome things in the game is pretty cool (for ex. one boss spawns a near-insta-kill barrier every now and then, however if you leveled your Gunslinger high enough you can roll through it and take no damage). This game also includes something it calls Common Abilities (which I mentioned above). Every class has two common abilities that are unlocked at a specific level, and once you get these abilities, any class can use it. The game looks visually unique, even though it sometimes looks mediocre, and frankly, the one thing that keeps this game together, at least for me, is the storytelling. This game has some really good and funny writing, and is one of the few MMOs I didn't skip out of on dialogues. Astral Adventures ties into this, giving you a Telltale-like ability to chose the outcome on certain stories, and that is genuinely fun. However, now come my gripes with the game. The animations are choppy, and cutscenes show this off in full detail. Also, some sounds and animations are reused for wildly different abilities. The classes are confusing, it actually pissed me off that I went as Gunslinger, a rapid-DOT class, and was outdamaged by my girlfriend going as the Paladin, a tank class. Bosses are bullet sponges while being able to kill you easily if you haven't built health or defense, or aren't a tanky class. If you want the better gear in the game, you have to spend time farming for items by putting your character at a Harvesting spot and just waiting. Ocassionally you may get a QTE for some of the better crafting items, but that's about it. Newer, stronger Senshis (essentially companions/pets) are locked behind a paywall, which I guess I should've seen coming. But so is furniture and some not-so-good gear, as then you either have to grind for it in the following way: Some enemies have a small chance of dropping a rare item. You take this rare item and turn it in and fight a boss. You kill the boss and get 3-7 (depending on if you used a Bounty Token) items, of which you need 100+, to make the item. Or you can just pay for it right away. The game's dungeons are always pretty challenging, and I'd honestly say they're fun...up until the last two. They spike up in difficulty suddenly, and to the point that it's punishing. If you went pure ATK or Crit build, you will get ♥♥♥♥ on, a lot. Your only options then are to either stick with your guts and beat it somehow or switch to a tanky class, farm for the EXP (if you haven't already) and then go beat it. So, to sum it up: Pros & Cons: +Classes are fun to use +The idea of Common Abilities is a good one +The writing in the game is pretty damn good +Astral Adventures are fun +Active, helpful community +Your weapons automatically switch to fit your class (so if you had say, Demonic Gunblades, and you go Dragon Knight, it'll become a Demonic Lance instantly) =Fun with friends (but then again, what co-op/MMORPG game isn't?) =Stiff animations and movement =Slow start -The Waterpark. ♥♥♥♥ everything about the Waterpark -Unbalanced/confusing class roles -Ridiculous grind for some items -Boring professions that are almost shoe-horned into the game -Bullet-sponging, nuke bosses -The difficulty goes waay too high up in the last eight of the game -Quests are too repetitive -Lootbox elements (granted, I'm guilty of using them) The only reason why I'll be finishing this game is to put a final period on the story, which managed to get me hooked. Whoever was their writer, I salute you.
A great old school MMORPG from a simpler time before jiggly boob physics was a thing and we were happy then.
-I made a gunslinger -stripped down to my underwear -auto-pathed and spammed through all the quest diologue -hey this music is nice -admired the lush, beautiful anime world -got a cute mount -pew pew at a big boss -entered the world map? in an MMO? cool -saw a giant walking house go by -got a guild invite to a guild named "Guild" with 1 other member and made a friend -put my clothes back on 9/10
Yes, I would recommend this game. It keeps you busy and is very entertaining with different costumes. The one I like the most are the motorcycles, dragons, planes and cars. On the other hand, the drop rate is not efficient. I am able to handle the rest. I do not mind grinding the game but that is my only concern.
