I want to like this game but I just can't. It is very boring and slow-paced. Cool concept and mysterious, but the pace was just too slow.
I loved this story and the intrigue it brought. I felt so engaged and took a very VERY long time just wondering what action I should take. It's short, and I highly recommend it.
Maybe it's a me thing, but I got sooo bored with the monologues. They were too long and nothing else really happened in the game. It's a shame because the atmosphere and idea were on point and the game had the potential to be very creepy, the story very interesting, the outcomes very surprising. Personally, I wish the dialogues were shorter. I understand they served a pretty major purpose -telling the backstory, explaining why the player is stuck in an elevator and what options they have to make it out. And it was also nice to not be able to tell who was lying and who wasn't, who was trying to deceive me and who was trying to help me, and making a choice to find out what would happen. But still, it was a bit tedious for me to read paragraphs over paragraphs of subtitles just to make a choice and end up with a "game ended" screen. Luckily though, it lets you replay just the last part to get all the endings, so you don't have to go through the whole shananigans again. So to summarize: gameplay wise it's a no for me -maybe bc of my adhd brain which can't handle long monologues and paragraphs that can't be skipped, especially when it's not rewarded in some way. Story and atmosphere wise it had a lot of potential, the premises were captivating and fairly creepy. Price wise... it's cheap, but for what it offers and its length, I'd say maybe it's still a tiny bit overpriced. If I could, I'd choose both recommended and not recommended for this review. I think it really depends on how well you tolerate a story that's narrated mainly through dialogue, with not much else to do -which, unfortunately, is not for me, hence the "not recommended".

Really interesting game! I loved how they built up the tension about the horror instead of relying on cheap jump scares. Definitely worth the price!
This is one of my favourite short horror games. My partner bought the game and we played together one ending together. I felt like I had to have it and just explore all the different things you can do. It feels like the Stanley Parable mixed with the SCP Foundation. Different options give different endings and responsive dialogue options to explore. It is definitely worth the money, and I am looking forward to seeing more games from this developer.
I saw gameplay of the demo, and that got me excited for this one. Unfortunately what came after leaving the elevator was pretty disappointing. The fact that it has several different ending somewhat made up for that, but let's just say I'm glad I bought the game on a huge discount, and didn't pay the full price. It's still not that expensive, but I would have felt robbed if I did pay the full price, and saw the underwhelming gameplay that came after the demo ended. Still I'll recommend the game but only on a discount. If you want to see my (no commentary) gameplay, click this link: https://youtu.be/ryJxuWDdUJA
Definitely an interesting experience. Would like to see more of this!
