I wasn't sure If I was going to enjoy this game at first. But I was shocked by how much depth is in here. I had no idea a Pokemon-battler rouge-like was something that would work out as well as it does. New addiction unlocked, I think this might finally replace my Balatro addiction.

Such a breath of fresh air for the roguelike/roguelite genre honestly the gameplay is simple yet so addicting!

Interesting concept that I'd like to see the potential of.

cool game, but it has a few "quirks" it's was very hard to actually come up with a strategy, as i struggled to differentiate types and their advantages and disadvantages (i am very colorblind and the shades of the types being very similar in shade combined with their type symbol not showing up unless you either hover over that specific beast or hold down right click threw me a few times when i wasn't paying attention) i also struggle with large blocks of text and the tutorial was not too terribly helpful because of that, at least for me. maybe other people had a better experience. the game's a bit bland right now, probably due to it being early access, but hey it's not all doom and gloom, the battles that i did have were actually pretty fun... once i got used to them. the getting used to them part wasn't great. oh well, it's not the end of the world. i'm very excited to see how this game develops, and if you could, maybe add some more visual aids to the gameplay, even if it's in an accessibility menu? thanks ♡

Been playing this since the demo and I love the vibe of gen 1-3 of Pokémon, I love that it’s all hand drawn, and it’s a unique take on the monster collector genre!! It definitely takes a minute to understand how to play, but that’s most RPG’s. Once you understand the basic types and see that it’s rock, paper, scissors, then everything falls into place! And the game does a good job at helping you out with indicators instead of holding your hand! Would definitely recommend!!

This game blew away my expectations. The ability to completely dominate the competition makes you feel so strong. The gameplay loop is solid with hours of potential gameplay. Half of my play time at time of writing this was from one run. I got to and finished depth 11, but figured I would cash out with my winnings. Phenomenal job! Would definitely recommend this!

The game is incredibly fun. The gameplay is relatively simple. It's easy to learn and quickly becomes a fun game. The attention to detail is truly amazing, as the beasts all look really good. There's a lot more content coming in the future, so the price is absolutely reasonable. Give the game a chance!

Turnbreak is such a fun little roguelite! It’s super easy to pick up and play, but still has enough depth to keep you coming back for “just one more run.” The mix of strategy and randomness feels really balanced you never know what’s going to happen next, but it always feels fair. What I love most is how smooth the gameplay loop is. Runs don’t drag on forever, so even if you only have a few minutes, you can jump in and make progress. The art and style fit perfectly with the vibe too its simple but charming. If you’re into roguelites but don’t want something overly complicated, Turnbreak is perfect. It’s addictive, replayable, and honestly just a great time. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

Entertaining roguelike gameplay loop with nicely designed monsters that evolve during battle make this game a great way to kill time on any occasion.
