Turn on the Light - Jigsaw is an elegantly minimalist, free-to-play puzzle game that artfully combines mind-bending recursive circuits with classic jigsaw puzzles. Featuring a clean, sleek design, the game offers a satisfying and challenging experience for puzzle enthusiasts at no cost. Each level presents unique illustrations that illuminate as you connect circuits and solve the puzzles. The gameplay encourages both relaxation and critical thinking, making it perfect for those looking for a meditative, problem-solving experience with a minimalist aesthetic. For fans of puzzle games seeking a free-to-play option, Turn on the Light - Jigsaw is an excellent choice. 🧩💡👍
A short and simple game that introduces interesting mechanics, but doesn’t expand on them quite enough. With a monochrome colour pallet, simple shapes and straight lines the visuals are very minimalistic, which works nicely for this type of game. You can assess the puzzles easily and without any visual distraction. Similarly the music is very soft and consistent and what little sound design there is also adds to the feeling of calm, perfect for focusing on puzzles. You are eased into how the circuits work via the first few levels, which is a good way of doing a tutorial in my opinion. Additionally about every ten levels a new mechanic is introduced. However the introduction of these new mechanics is about as slow and simple as the starter levels, so there are not a lot of levels that get the chance to reach a higher difficulty. Most of the levels presented are quite quick and easy to figure out and only a few or the last ones took some more thought to complete. In the end though the presentation is very monotone it is ideal for focusing on the puzzles at hand and though most of those puzzles are very easy this is a solid show of concept and a nice exercise to pass time. It is not a must play, but you don’t lose much if you do pick it up since it’s a free game.
Turn on the light - Jigsaw is a somewhat complicated puzzle game that has a simple objective, turn on the light. The game is enjoyable. I like the idea of placing puzzle pieces to connect the circuit (I'm used to seeing games that have all of the circuits together and you'll have to rotate them to have them all connected). And each level will introduce a new mechanic that makes it less repetitive. Some will be mind-boggling to solve.
Good puzzle game. Unfortunately, sometimes there's only one way to place the pieces and that gives an obvious hint as to how to solve it. I also had a strange issue at level 19 where everything was setup correctly but it didn't want to work, restarting and placing it again worked... might have been the order I placed the things?
