I haven't had the midi issue on the steam deck, in case anyone wanted to play this on theirs. Haven't had any other issues either. Your standard dating sim with adult content. Reminds me of Tokimeki but far less wholesome. I also appreciate that i can basically click my way through the game for the most part and I'm not bogged down by an outdated UI. Not sure how annoying the midi thing is on PC but 10/10 on steam deck so far.

If you are planning on buying and playing this re-release you should be activating the beta branch 'renpybeta' from Steam 'Properties -> Beta'. I have played this game before back in 2013~, so this is not my first time playing it. This game aged like milk. Dialogue is dull, gameplay is xp-based and scenes do happen out of order (depending on your actions). Although the game doesn't take itself too seriously, it definitely is from another era. [spoiler]One of the frist things you do in it is spying the girls locker room. One of them finds out and, instead of being angry, she is flatered. This is the level we are dealing with right here.[/spoiler] The main character is a dumbass. You can select your character type but it only changes his main stats. He is a complete pervert that tries to be a playboy, and in good classic eroge fashion she gets swarmed by random girls. Again, the dialogue and story is kinda bad by today standards. Being a game from the 90s (almost 30 years old), it's understandable that things are clunky because how game genres tend to develop. That being said, if you aren't running the beta (which I assume wasn't there at the initial steam release back in 2019), you can't play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Constant freezes every time the music is changed, thanks to MIDI. Even asking US$4.99 is too much when you did put any effort in it. I can only say two thinks that this game did good, one of which is the day system with actions. I think this is kinda unexplored in dating games/visual novels. There is also the paranormal aspect. [spoiler]There are gods that give you xp-points towards your studying, fashion, art skill, w/e.[/spoiler] There are also some other random events that are paranormal and I think they can trigger certain endings, but I'm not sure. [spoiler]I do remember one with a catgirl tho.[/spoiler] If you are unsure about this game, don't bother. There are plenty more things to play.

it's very immature and crude but like it's also fun and has some heart (i think???) the calendar system is very archaic, and that isn't a bad thing at all. it was one of the first, after all. it's given a few mulligans. But the simple action of just doing 3 activities and then seeing all the events that happen throughout the day you've had is super fun and not complicated at all which is just charming. just like be aware this is from the 90s so it's not as in line with modern sensibilities. i personally did not find that an issue for me, but i get if it's a dealbreaker for you. know what you're buying.

I am an avid fan of dating games- I've played stuff from the OG Tokimeki Memorial to the girl's side plus series to Love Plus to hunnie pop and whatnot. This is one of the worst dating games I have ever played. The translation is ♥♥♥♥ and it doesn't even run on most computers. I had to install a Windows XP virtual machine and then find a media fire file posted in 2007 to find a working exe. Its just a p*rn game about highschoolers with a really bad english translation.
