Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince

I know I'm biased when I say this because I like this game and the previous ones but the game is really good. The series is good. This game has been my childhood.

Игра для 2-3 игроков. Кажется, некоторые моменты в соло вообще не проходимые. Вдвоём - очень классно. Играю с дочкой 8 лет. Восторг. приходится и подумать, и кнопки понажимать.

If you read this review, you have probably played one game of Trine at least, so you can see where I'm coming from. Always feels like you're in a charming fairy tale. Graphics, in game animals, and plants are way better than in past games. As a veteran of Trine 1/2/3, I can say I did feel much nostalgia about the first and second games because they used the new mechanics, especially electrical water, blocks, and puzzles, but it is better than the third game, obviously. There is one small problem, though. Some parts of the game were boring and not too captivating for me. Regardless, I'm gonna play the 5th game and wait for the 6th with excitement.

For a small indie team, this is a really cute game to play with friends. The puzzles are clever and sometimes pretty challenging, the world is very beautiful, and the controls work smoothly. I do wish some more polish was made with the combat, story, and sound design, but it's not taking away from the overall joy of the game. Recommended! fun time that's worth the investment
